Chapters 1-3 Shaun is brilliant, and I love him to little bits already. Honestly, this is such a wonderful world you've created. I wonder what will happen next, and how the Aqua dragons will come back. Ok, off to check out Dragon Prince now!

I read this in the order suggested, and got completely carried away. Shaun's story was so sad, but I'm glad he got to be happy in the end in Dragon Prince. That really is heartbreaking when Sara listens to him when he talks about it. Well done, Tahn... wonderful story. :)

Ch 1 ...and it creates such a magic explosion that it kills the mother. - Even if it's the other way around? A male mage and female dragon? Dagnabbit, it all! 'Arabelle wasn't stupid though, and decided to follow him back to the temple one day.' - Dagnabbit, Arabelle, you'll blow up! So sad. I was already near the end when I read the note about reading DP first, so I'm going to pause here and read that now.

Ch 2 Alrighty, here we go...time to get caught up. Ch 3 He snuck out, so as not to wake them, and made his way outside to sit in the grass as the sun rose over the lake. He always felt so peaceful around water, like all of his worries could be fed into it and reflected off to the sky. - Aww. That's a great way to put it.

Damnable it this is why I never review on my kindle, it ate my review. Okay, let me try again. I was expecting so much worse! Okay him offing the little girl was a Dick move but you're sort of a softy. :p LOL I may have had a glass of wine before writing this review so excuse any mistakes and please remember that I'm currently torturing some poor man so my perception may be a bit off right now. Okay I'm going to stop babbling now. CL

Okay, so since I know bad things are coming I'll have to take the fluffy where I can get it right? So Shaun's a little kid now... interesting.

I don't want to be mean, but I expected a bit more from this story. The entire chapter, through it's lengthy - which is a plus, is basically a list of what Shaun is doing. Sometimes it's also not clear who's taking action because in the same sentence there's a subject (as the blonde) and 'he' referred to the protagonist. Moreover the dialogues are not well thought: they neither characteristic of a 5 year old traumatised kid nor of an adult. Nobody would ever say "I've lost my voice" in reference to a psychological block (AND last chapter you made clear it was his choice not to talk but he could).

once again I get to see the dragons. there are always stories that you wish could keep going and yours is one of those! Thank YOU for finding this one after so long!
