I know it might seem strange, but I'm glad he wasn't magically healed and alright. He's been through a lot, and people don't just get over that. It was a sweet ending, I'm glad he has people he loves beside him, and i think he's gonna be ok.

Great story! I was keeping up with the chapters, then I got busy and all of a sudden the last three chapters were up. I really enjoyed the journal style of this, which isn't usually my thing, but I got hooked into it.
I had been hoping for some confrontation with Tristan and Malcolm together against Jake, but how it happened was very natural to the story. I was also hoping for a little bit more of a prolonged resolution, seeing more of his integration and how he started to cope, reactions of family and friends. Still, in the end, this story just made me smile. Thank you.

Awwwww yaaaaaaaaaaaay! I was hoping for a happy ending! Man this was a damn good story...I was on edge the whole time and scared to get excited about too much because I wasn't sure if it was real or not! But I loved the ending...it was perfect♥
