"That's right. You'll always be here." He touched his chest, over his heart.
- Never forget that! -gushing tears-
"You didn't lie," Nikko said.
And slowly, Knight began to smile. "Because I'll always be in Nikko's heart?"
"Yep." Nikko smiled back, even if it hurt him so much to do so.
- Whyyyy? -more gushing tears-
He pulled it out of the can, recognizing the coat Queen had been working on for Gus.
- Oh no, Queen! What happened?
Well, that chapter was full of heartache and sentiment, mostly on my side. A part of me still hopes that his mixed genes will somehow add a few more years to Knight's tally. And I'm still rooting for Queen and Gus, so I hope Queen isn't giving up!
Also, congrats on the 50 chapter mark!
This time, Bishop was the one to look away. "... Double means two, so... A 'double-date' is two people going on a date with someone."
"No, you dip. A 'double-date' is two couples going out together."
- Ha ha ha! Best conversation between those two EVER.
"Let's see something scary."
- Uh-oh, I have a bad feeling about this.
Maybe, if he worked hard again, he could bring someone else into that bubble...

And though it was supposed to be a scary movie, Bishop found the people around him far more frightening.
- Ha ha! Poor thing.
UGH poor baby. He tried so hard and it seemed like he really wanted a kiss from Ben. He tried so, so hard. And that he survived the movie and the coffee shop was stellar for him. I hope Ben doesn't give up on him!!
I've always wondered why Bishop was like this. I guess we'll find out soon enough ;-).

Very, very hot. I love that Queen is persistent with Gus, he needs that moving forward. Ha ha, and I like how Nikko got himself an eyeful! Hee hee. He might have to talk to his students about keeping the door locked. I still want Bishop to end up with someone, he's the only one really missing out now of that aspect. And, of course, I'm about as worried as Nikko over Knight's remaining years of life. I also wonder what Jack is up to.
Toss Kent into the mix, and it's a hexagon, Nikko. Jeez. And wow, Ginger figured it out! And good for her, Kent deserved that slap for not being honest with her. I'm glad Nikko isn't wavering after hearing about Knight's limited lifespan. But, I'm still super worried about their horizon. Jack can only do so much right now when it comes to the company. And, it's not just Knight and Nikko, they have Queen and Bishop to consider. The company might overlook ONE student missing in action. But, they wouldn't turn a blind eye to THREE.
Ginger Ale! Too clever. I had the suspicion that it wasn't really Ginger. Queen seems to be getting along great with Penny, too. I'm still quite worried about Jack, though. Wonder what he's going to do.

This chapter was sweet. Poor Knight. And I love Queen making the shirt for Gus. I ship them hard. I'm getting eager to see Nikko top Knight when he's feeling better. Rawr!

-bows- With your consistent work and updating (45 chapters, after all!) you deserve every review and more. Everyone gets very busy during different seasons, as do I, but I try to make an effort to support my most favorites whenever I can. This story's in my top 10 ongoing stories, for sure. The reader, and fellow author, Tahn also reviews fairly consistently. I remember a few chapters back that the two of us would leave reviews one after another because our "letter T" screennames back to back made me giggle with glee. Tahn and I are dragon (and possibly kemonomimi/semi-anthro/neko-boy) advocates (or at least I'd like to think so, so if you're reading this, Tahn...it's how I've always felt!).
As for this chapter, it was fascinating to once again see Knight's more feral side. Don't feel bad about the use of words like "animals" to denote their "feral" or "beast" sides. English is my second language, and in Spanish the use of the word "animal" literally just means "feral" and not anything insulting. There are a few other words I learned (thanks to ramblingrobin) that didn't translate well from Spanish to English. For example, the use of the word "dog" instead of "beast" can sound derrogatory in English if it's mixed with an exclamation of some sort...and the word "blouse" instead of "dress shirt" is more effemintate and meant to be used to describe an article of FEMALE clothing. But, in Spanish "blusa" just plain means "button-down shirt" whether it's a guy or a girl. Anyway, the point is I didn't get ANY negative connotations from the words you used AT ALL.
