After the jarring attack and all that's happened, this was a very sweet chapter. Bishop is an absolute sweetheart to help Nikko and Knight out, and I like that Nikko expressed that Bishop means a lot to him, too. The calm feels deceptive, though, especially when it comes to the company and what they plan on doing with Gus. I feel as if I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Either way, another excellent chapter. I'm way too invested into this story, on this site, it's the best you've written so far. There's a nice flow of ups and downs, the transition smooth and progressive. I love it. At the same time, I dread what's on the horizon because I know how hardcore the angst in your stories can be. It won't stop me from reading it, though, ha ha.
Oh wow. Just, wow. I was not expecting that at all. I don't know what I WAS expecting, but that wasn't it. That is not ok. Poor guys, that facility needs to be stopped.
Wow, that is QUITE the secret for Knight to hold onto for so long. I know that money makes the world go round, but to outright terminate a hybrid that cost them so much money to begin with? That's ridiculous. All the teachers should band togeather against the company about this. There are other ways for the company to make money. If they want a fee from the students longterm, then they should allow them to find work and stay with the teachers.

The company better not let that bitch Victoria have another student. They should charge her for the all expenses due to this attack and then make her 'pay' fire Gus, Knight and Bishop's injuries and emotional trauma then add a huge fine I mean huge fine. That way they can kick her out of the program and not miss her money. THEN they should charge for animal cruelty and abuse and take her ass to jail. She'll end paying a shit ton to get out of it so they can get even more money out of it. Bankrupt the bitch which will be the only way her toe would learn that lesson. You can always kill her too if you really want to make some of us happy.

Whoa, so many things happened in this chapter. That cruel and ridiculous woman. It's one thing to throw money at the company for a new pet, but another entirely to have that pet endanger the lives of all the other rather costly pets. There's no way they can allow her that luxury any further. I'm so glad that Knight's ram genes kicked in, and it's quite bittersweet how Gus jumped in, risking his own life to save him like that. So sad...he was trying to hard to behave and control himself so that he could at least hang out with Knight again only for this shit to happen. As relieved as I am that Knight and Bishop seem to be ok, it was heartwrenching to see Gus torn up so badly.
