A woman he loves... like a family member or a lover? Either way, I'm glad we got a bit of Darnubis' point of view. He's actually a nice guy. Though, obviously he's a bit mentally abused. Hopefully Tian will kick Grenner's ass. And Xander's. Still not fan of his (or his son), especially after this...

great great story , one of the best slavery stories i have been read so far , i have a feeling Xander is going find about Darnubis cheating sell him to Narciso and i also want to know Gardiner fate . Xander is a good guy i hope he and Tian fell in love at the end.

First I would make sure my safety was guaranteed and then I would sing like a banshee! My survival in that household would be way more important than his. And that guard? I would say he threatened me before so I was scared to say anything about him hitting on me but that I saw that I had to come forward because I cared about him (Xander) too much. Hell yes. I would lie my ass off cause you know if they found out that he saw them together they would for sure try to silence him in any way possible! So I say fuck them! I win!

Aw man. Sounds like the beginning of the end 4 poor Darnubis. Im leaning 2ward the guard having used a similar threat 2 what he used on Tian. And I do wonder now how things will advance 2 revolution, if indeed it leads there. I certainly still hope so. No society that condones slavery should go on unhindered. The people news a real wake up call. It makes me wonder, 4 n these types of settings(n reality), ther is always a sect of free ppl that c slavery as wrong. I wonder if ther r any here... Also, r children of the slaves bred slaves, or citizens??? Sadly those details r almost as often lost n these stories as the mention of fwhat happens 2 elderly or crippled slaves(killed, sold, or freed???) Its just my personal curiosity, so if u don't actually intend 2 put it n a chap, could u share sum details n a forum reply??? :-)
