love it, more please!

Yeah another chapter. Good to hear all is well with you. I love seeing the relationship between Riley and Caiden develop.

I won't lie I'm a little confused. Why doesn't a 13 year old know what rape or sex is? Like from what I was reading it sounded like he was very unaware what sex entailed.... Don't get me wrong that's fine but where I grew up and went to school we were having pregnancy units in 7th grade at 12 and learning about that. So it could just be my ignorance to other locations in the United States. I suppose part of that shocks me and leaves me slightly horrified at the idea that it could mean children don't have a full understanding about it. Not to say it's bad but it just leaves me slightly confused

Chapters 5 & 6:

Wow, I'm just in shock about Caiden's birth-giver. I would never call her a 'mother' because she most certainly was NOT a mother to Caiden. What mother pimps her young son out to sleazy pedos? She is sick. They should keep her in jail and throw away the key. Horrible, horrible person.

Caiden, obviously, will be scarred for life. He already thinks he's ugly, filty, disgusting, not worthy of love. I think Riley coming into his life right now is a godsend. Riley seems to be really good with Caiden, knowing just what to say and do to make the younger boy feel comfort.

These last two chapters were very intense. I can't imagine how Mr. Clarkson can bear being away from his son for a long period of time. I think I'd be hovering over him constantly, which of course, wouldn't do Caiden any good. But I wouldn't be able to help being so overprotective.

Riley setting up a get together for Halloween with Caiden and Ashley and Zach is a great idea. Caiden needs to do normal things and be around kids his age (or close enough to his age). I'm sure his dad will be very appreciative of Riley for extending the offer. :)

I absolutely love this story! I can't wait to read more. I can't wait to see how the dynamic and relationship between Caiden and Riley grows and develops.

Chapter 5: I don't know how I missed this chapter!

What a chapter, though. I think Caiden's panic attack would scare an adult, never mind a thirteen-year-old.

I'm trying to put the pieces together also. Caiden's mom was going to school, and she wanted to start her own business. How the hell did she wind up in jail then?

Riley should have Googled something about his mom and jail in Illinois, maybe he would have found something.

Ok, on to chapter six. :)

Seriuosly kove it. When the story first began i had a totally different imoression about the character of caiden. But lately he is so sweet and cute and i just want to cuddle him and hold him like a teddy bear.
Riley is such a sweetheart. I just adore your story and wait for the next update.

Gahhhhh, I just want to know for sure what it is that got Caiden's mom locked up.
