Aww, Reuben is so sweet. Thank you for the double updates! I enjoyed, and cried, with them.

I have to say whenever I think of these two I think of Ruben on top as he seems to have the more dominant personality. But the more I read the more I feel like I'm misjudging the positioning. Lol

Your writing is so lovely! I was hesitant about reading this (post-apocalyptic settings are usually too heavy for me), but I'm glad I took the chance!
I love how the relationship between Jasper and Reuben has progressed. And as I kept reading, I felt nicely balanced between calm (the domesticity of farm life is so disarming) and dread (because the peace can only last so long in such times).

Thanks for the updates. Glad to know Reuben's secret. I thought he might have had one of his abusers chained up and was slowly torturing him to death. I hope Clare and Mark make it.

I love this story I just wished it updated more. I'm more curious about future generations in these types of stories. And if there is someplace in Norwich than they could theoretically set up a route from the farm using the people in Norwich.

I'm so glad I stuck with this story. I thought it started a little slow, but with every chapter it just grows more and more awesome. That I though it felt slow might even had nothing to do with the story but the mood was in when I began to read. I love how you slip in more and more mystery with every chapter. And that one lone kiss was so much fun, ha ha. Everything is just so awesome! I was really frustrated when I reached the end of chapter 6 and there was no more to read. Such a sad thing. I might have growled just a tiiiny little bit of frustration.

Another well written chapter. I loved how tenderly Jasper treated Reuben during his confession. I can't wait for Reuben to reveal his secrets. Your post-apocalyptic setting is so creative and the challenges the characters face realistic. It's scary to imagine this really happening. Thank you for continuing the story.

Mark is so funny i love him. Im really nervous about what kind of secrets rueben has laying around. He already has literal skeletons outside who knows whats in that room
