Loved the update. They have finally ran into someone from that mysterious city. I hope the inhabitants are not hostile and they get some answers to their questions. Looking forward to see where the story goes next.

You've really developed Reuben into a wonderful character. I hope we find out what happens to Mark and who the father of Clare's baby is. Please update soon.

I guess from Reuben's angry response to Jasper, Reuben isn't the father. I seem to recall Mark and Clare were alone at the university and left months later when their supplies ran out. Thus, it appears she didn't get pregnant there. After the siblings left the university, they were on the road a few weeks before reaching the farm. Perhaps one of the men from that initial group did rape her at some point. The Norwich mystery is also puzzling. Why would they just take Mark and not Clare too? I look forward to getting my questions answered.

Well, that was an unexpected turn of events. I wonder who is the child's father and what really happened to Mark. I am looking forward to your next update.

I am very happen for midweek update... but wait did he really sleep with her... I feel like I can't recall how long they lived with them... but I am like wait what how could he not want to risk Jasper but then risk her and that doesn't make any sense... and now I am going back to reread to make a timeline for myself... I mean she was gone for 1 week for sure and they lived on the farm for at least a month.... how far is she.... oh dear... If I were Jasper I would not take this well... at all. LOL. I would probably have tried to shoot him actually. Because I am an irrational creature when upset, even if I am wrong on my initial assumption.... timeline time.

too short... the flashback was great but took up too much of the chapter and created for a really short chapter that I feel like I didn't go any further in the story.

I am really enjoying this story and looking forward to learning about what happened with Claire and Mark and with Jaspers shoulder injury.

That better be our favorite siblings in that house....
