Your writing style had improved greatly since you started the story. I loved this update, thank you so much for posting some background information about the culture of the world you created. The dream Tal had in the last scene was a beautiful, well done metaphor.
Love it!!!

I got a couple things out of this chapter. First, Tal is probably going to feel super shitty/grossed-out/creepy about getting off. Probably one of the most awful things about male rape is that the male being raped can get hard and then they think they're some kind of deviant. Secondly, it's totally obvs that our dear friend Aren is quick to punish (a total prick) and is really, really possessive. So, Tal better be careful about who he gets close to! And last, I hope I'm misinterpreting the dream. The Seral of the dream just kind of leaves Tal to Cat!Aren. I hope that's not what he does in reality. Our main bro Tal needs a friend, not someone who will abandon him!

Aaah! You have such a beautiful, poetic way of describing things OwO. And, gosh, Tal is a precious bby. (Great job with the pic of Tal, too - he's a cutie!)
I wasn't sure what to expect when I started reading, but you've got an intriguing story here. I like the water theme, and I really like this chapter's mythology - especially the cool way it explains tides!

O good I can finally review!!! Is this gonna b a tragedy??? If so PLZ let me no!!!!! I simply cant take sad endings(they make me xtremely depresst!!! So wen r we gonna find out more bout the master!?! And hmmm... At this rate Im rootin 4 the stable boy 2!!! As a kid who grew up on the ocean- and hinted 2 b a great swimmer, shouldnt the main character hav contemplated escapin via water????? Just sayin! Anyway, plz reply & update soon!!!

Seral is just too cute! I really, really like him. And clearly Tal likes him too. Their budding romance is definitely going to make things super complicated. I cannot wait to read more! I know it will probably only get worse for Tal, but dammit, I'm hoping for a happy ending!

Great update! I wonder what Aren is like.... Like ,what is his real personality.

I found myself getting a bit more curious about Aren. Clearly, any person that buys another person is bound to be a complete dick. But he's not a normal dick; he's apparently really smart. And so unemotional. I get a bad feeling he's going to totally mess with Tal psychologically. Also, thanks for providing that drawling! I was wondering how long Tal's hair was (I know, a weird thing to want to know).

You update super quickly! I have a feeling Tal's life is going to start sucking pretty soon. Hopefully we can see the start of a lovely romance between Tal and Seral. Seral seems really nice and understanding (though a bit goofy). I can't wait for more! Also, you should enable reviews from anonymous people (you'd probably get a lot more). I hate seeing only, like, six reviews for this awesome story. It deserves more!
