Loved it, and not just because I know the author.
The story is well laid out and paced, with a nice cliff-hanger at the end, even if the secret had already been given away. We wait to see the reaction.
I appreciate how the main character, Carrie, has grown frustrated with random sex and craves a relationship. Even as a straight guy, those were the same things I felt as a college student, except for not getting the sex either. But for me, the relationship was first, trusting that at some point the sex would follow.
A fine beginning to a love story that's about to take another step up.

Really like the story. Assume the hubby is back early. i can see Mangus's influence there and that is a good thing. Waiting for the next chapter. AND sort of goose Mangus to get his next xhapter up.
