A review for chapter 1... Although I may be a little late...
To start, let’s look at the characters. I like triumvirate you have set up here between Carrie, Suzie, and Evan. The interactions are quite well written and I find the interactions quite believable. I had quite a laugh at quite a few scenes, too. (Kind of scared my cats when I randomly broke out with Carrie telling off Blaine). I’m looking forward to see how well they all develop through the course of this tale.
In terms of what I’ve read for the moment, chapter one is a good set up. This chapter has done fine in getting me interested in what’s to happen next, it has achieved its goal in setting up the characters, and had done the job in establishing them. I’m glad I went looking after I got off work and happened across yours.
All in all, great story, one I’ll come back to.
