Demarcus better save Ari!!! And I hope they can fix Ari's back!!!
And darn you for making me openly cry in public during that last chapter. You may have gotten a little carried away with the semicolons in the most recent chapters but your writing is still excellent!

Oh god poor Ari. I really hope the spinal injury is temporary (?? I dont know if that's even possible) or that there's a medical thing to fix him like in Singularity.
I have a question, is this the same universe as Singularity? It doesn't seem so but I guess it could be.
Okay I really hope that Ari gets to bring his aunt and cousin or at least Demarcus ad Ari team up to save the planet.
Coen is so awful! Please don't let him keep all that money.
Hmm this was more like scattered thoughts about the chapter than an "review" lol. This Story is pretty addicting. The fast updates are pretty nice too, gonna be sad when they end but at least it will become weekly and not like monthly.

Damn it, Gael. What terrible timing. Recalling Marc without warning is so going to bite you in the ass later, I'm sure of it.
I like that Willa didn't even bat an eyelash when Marc told her about finding 'him.' That's a lovely bond those two share, for her to trust him so much.
Frustrating, truly, how they have to patiently wait to see Gael for another day while Ari's getting beaten down to an inch of his life.
(Now this is completely off on the mother of all tangents, but...when Ari was freaking out about not being able to feel his lower half, I ended up researching spinal cord injuries. The very thought of Coen having caused that much damage to him made me think of him as a monster. Out of nowhere, the song 'Monster' by Becky G [from the Hotel Transylvania soundtrack?] came to mind. And I somehow came across a girl slash crossover involving Hotel Transylvania and Tangled...which somehow ended up linking to Disney's Frozen. Youtube is evil for somehow making everything lead to Frozen and completely making me forget what I was doing. That is all.)
The anxiety of Marc's hoping that Ari's safe with Coen for 'a while longer' in vain is staggering. And Gael won't be pleased in the slightest at the condition Ari's in currently. He'll be pleased even less at how mentally and emotionally scarred the boy is, to boot. Seems like Thane just can't catch a break no matter what incarnation he's in.
