I really, really hope that before all of this is over, Jakred turns a new leaf and ends up with a mate himself. REALLY hoping hard for it, despite all of his wrongdoings and prissy-ness.
Once again, Marc oozes badass-ery in the scene with him sitting in Coen's desk! Friggin awesome.
I got a kick out of Ari's reaction to Marc's invitation to meet Willa. "Do I look ok?" So sweet of him.
Gael, don't be a coward and get to know Ari so you could at least say 'I once had a human friend...' whether he passes away in 100 years or not.
Speaking of death and reincarnation, I'm still wondering what the 'consciousness' part of it comes into play...because if it's 'personality,' wouldn't someone have more or less the same personality upon reincarnating? Unless they mean consciousness in the form of 'memories.'
And punishment-smunishment! Gael should be focusing on figuring out what happened to Thane in the first place and why he was offed.

Ahh!!! So cute!!! Finally, some happy scenes. Is Ari ever going to find out about Gael reading his mind and is it going to cause a rift of some sort in their relationship? Also, are they going to solve the Ari-has-a-shorter-lifespan problem?

Ahh! I am absolutely crazy about this story! The cliff hanger in chapter five was killer and I absolutely cannot wait for the next chapter. I hope that you will post it soon!

Another great chapter! Ah! I can't believe I didn't realize that of course Ari has a mortal life span. And here I am chanting that they'll figure a way around it. Gael needs Ari and vice versa, ah the suspense! Ah the wonderful writing! I eagerly await the next chapter. The week of waiting will be impatient.
