WOAH! hell of a first chapter! you certainly made an impression with that general of yours! i read 'king killer' and was immediately intrigued and it only got better!!! i cant wait to read more about william! i cant wait to meet leonard, although, i admit, im scared of him already lol. i mustve reread this 4 times already and i friggin joined up on here so i could have an official penname to leave behind! so yeah this story hooked me! im most definitely impressed with the quality of writing and the realism. also, your fantastic storytelling!
this site has no update alert system though so ima recommend you load this up on fictionpress too (if you think you can get by the censors).
also, how big a part is rape in this fic?

FYI, you can also post this story on Archive of our Own under Original fandom where readers get alerts to updates on stories via email notification and authors are allowed to respond to reviews. I don't think you have to worry about censorship on that site like you do Fictionpress. Although, you probably won't get as many followers/reviewers on it.

yes totally! i forgot about the original fic side of ao3, its much more popular than fictionpress nowadays. definitely upload it on ao3. they dont have censor issues.

Oh dear Lord, I am hooked. I feel like I am walking in William's shadow and going to my doom right along with him. It's very well written and you nailed the setting with vivid detail. I can't wait for Alexander to be introduced. Anxiously, waiting to read more and thanks for sharing it.
