Ah! I love this story so much! I think it's probably my favorite of all of yours and I don't know why cuz I am pretty emotionally invested in all of your characters. I can't wait for the next update! Please let it be soon! I want Matt to finally be honest with himself and Payne. Why didn't he say anything about what Payne had written?! Jerk. Anywho, please update soon!!!

So happy to see this starting to update again, but also have learned that this is a sign of the beginning of the end. Matt and Payne do deserve their HEA, though, and although there are several signs of that in your other stories, I am ready for it here.. Payne broke the 'silence' of the feelings between them, even if it was on paper, and I love Matt's reaction. Screw the assignment, screw the safe house, screw Stella, screw Bulger, possibly screw his promotion... Pack your shit, you're coming with me... Yeah, I realize that he didn't put that much thought into it before it came out of his mouth, but It is definitely a start for moving from where they were to where they have to go. Kind of amusing that the Jealousy Monster reared it's head for both of them over Spence, at least a bit... As always, even if I don't review often, I'm always looking forward to hearing more from you and your town of characters.

Hehe, Matt is gonna be so mad. They both need to sort out their feelings and share them with each other.

Oh my gosh -- are these the characters from What the Heart Wants? I was searching for this story the other day so I can plead for an update and then the names suddenly stood out and I was like WOW backstory alert! I probably would have waited to read WTHW if I had known because big spoilers are in there but it was a good story anyway. PLEASE update soon!
