Oh my god!!! I'm so glad Atara was not submitted to the rite and I'm so glad Kita is still alive^^ Can't wait for the love and caring both of them will get!!!! I'm not so worried about kita since he is storng but I'm worried about ataras metal state!!! Hope thy will both be ok!!! See you again tomorrow!!!

Oh. My. Good. Lord. I just power read the last 7-ish chapters. Holy shit were those gut wrenching! You sure know how to make a person cry with how you write. I honestly could not stop reading this story. You are extremely talented at writing the emotional side of the story, you make it possible to feel with the characters. Poor Cyril. I cried with him when I read when he finds out about Fox. I can only wish that a love similar to that happens to me. I can't wait to read what you have planned next!

This chapter was really sad but warm. You went right for my feels.

Your story totally keeps me on the edge of my seat! Sigh. These past few chapters have me bawling my eyes out, especially when I read about fox's death. Poor Cyril. And poor kita. Can't wait for the next chapter. Thanks for updating consistently.

What a beautiful line... "Fox had been the glue that held us all together and I intended to be the stitches that replaced him." I also like that the two brothers are the heads of their people, both separately and together. I think the two of them will make a great team. The punishment dealt out to the traitors and temple peeps was well done. Can't wait to see what you have in store for Glenning.

First, I would like to tell you that you have a great talent for writing. I'm usually a "lurker" & don't normally review stories, but one of your responses at the end of this last chapter pushed me to say something. In both this story and the last, I have been impressed by your ability to express such real and intense relationships between characters. Reading about the death of your twin brother, I better understand how you were able to write that way. I am a Twinless Twin as well and can relate to many of the emotions portrayed in your stories. If you are not already aware, you should check out the Twinless Twins Support Group, International (TTSGI). Based on your writing, you appear to be coping well, but it is always nice to meet others who understand the intensity and long-lasting effects of such a loss. I wish you well and look forward to the continuation of this story.

Time to rumble my peeps. Your days are numbered lady, and at the end of those days awaits only pain. As for how to do it? I say it should be done in front of the whole city, let her experience the wrath in the faces of her "subjects" I almost want her thrown to the crowd and for them to rip her to shreds, but with their whole "no kill" policy I dunno how that'd go down. Maybe each citizen pick up a rock, and say a name of someone they've lost as they throw it at her until everyone's vented their pain, and she is dead.

Let me first tell you, Wow. It is not often that I get emotional about a story, but this one has me bawling. When Fox was murdered I had tears and snot running down my face. It has been a long time since I have felt this connected to characters, but you have brought them to life with such elegance and seemingly effortless pose. That I can not wait to see what you bring us, the readers, in the future. With that being said I would like for that b**ch to be cut down joint by joint and I hope that Cyril is the one to do it and in the thrown room. A place that that thing wanted so bad that she killed for it. I want that to be the site of her down fall. With just the two of them in that room. I want him to first take her hands then cut out her knees as she tries to run away. As she falls forward on bloody stumps, Cyril stalks her across the room until she is at the foot of the dais where the thrown is and he puts his foot in the middle of her back and grabs a chunk of her hair to expose her neck,and with all of the might born of loss, rage, and fear he cuts off her head. As for the others the council members of the Lierian nation and the temple priests/guards,they are to be given to the Godless cult and people of the city to be torn apart, killed, mutilated what ever the people see fit to do to them. Now that would make me happy. I thank you for the fast chapters and for taking me on this ride.

*spoilers ahead* I wanted to love this story. I had waited eagerly each day while A Land of Gods and Kings chapters were posted and when it was finished I looked forward to seeing what happened to Cyril and Fox's children. From the beginning I didn't find Beauty in the Ashes as engaging but I hoped that as I got to know the characters I would grow to love them. When Emory's life fell apart I was comforted by an author comment on one of chapters confirming that there would be no major character deaths. Even as Emory's behavior became sickening to read, as life for all those in the story seemed to become devoid of any of the humor in Cyril and Fox's story, as I found myself dreading rather than looking forward to thr next chapter release,I stuck it out because I didn't know what was coming. Reading Fox's execution absolutely gutted me. I won't be finishing this story because I simply can't. I know that for me no measure of happiness for Arara/Mack and Emory/Nikita will make up for the loss of Fox. I wish wholeheartedly that as well written as this story was that I had never read it because at least then I could imagine Cyril and Fox safe and happy together.
