Chapter 10: Omg, CL, you had me cracking up in this chapter! Well, at the beginning at least! :)
The whole thing with Jules, and how their parents probably know about Shane and how Shane is always the last to know his own feelings...lol
I should have copied and pasted all the parts that were just so funny, but that would have taken up the whole review post! :)
Zeb is very lucky to have Shane and Justin helping him. I just hope that Shane can tone down his feelings for Zeb. I'd hate to see Justin hurt.

I'm going to miss Shane because he's just so ditsy and completely oblivious, but it will be absolutely hilarious to see Justin's rolling his eyes at Shane's obliviousness and seeing it from another person's view.
I adore Shane's sister...especially since I can so relate to her. Just waiting for your bro to come out of the deep dark forest of obliviousness (not that it will ever happen with mine).
Anyways, I can't wait to see Zeb out of Justin's eyes. Loving and adoring this!

Aww, come on. Zeb needs someone to cuddle, I'm sure the bed is big enough for three, I'll bet he doesn't take up much room. I love that his sister knew he was gay before he did :D

Yes...what was that about not doing anything infront of a comatose guest? You always make me giggle when things have hit a depressing point but the chapters never end on a note where you're upset and can't get rid of the what on earth is going to happen next because it's ended on a cliffhanger bad note.
Still cliffhangerish but in a good way, can't wait for more!

Naughty naughty with your houseguest like right there! Somebody needs to lay a beat down on Zeb's relatives...one in particular comes to mind. It's so sad when he figured out his Mom left him behind. Please get better Zeb!

Holy shit, what the hell did his asshole father DO to him??? And what's with his mother? She's PROTECTING his father???? She should be calling the police and having him locked up!!
Poor Zeb. He's a mess, and he's not pleasant to Shane to begin with; I can't imagine how nasty he's gonna be to him now. I just hope his attitude won't dissuade Shane and Justin from helping him.

I just read Aduial's review, and she/he's absolutely right; Zeb's mom did the best she could at that time. It's obvious she's getting physically abused also, by the way she flinched when Shane lifted his arm. She's probably scared to death of her husband, so she bows down to him and does whatever he says.
And I guess since Zeb is over eighteen, the hospital can't report his condition as domestic abuse. Isn't that what they do for kids that come in, and it looks like they could be getting abused? They have an obligation to report that, right? I mean, they wouldn't believe that he just 'fell down the stairs', right?

Jeezus, fell down the stairs my ass. At least his mom tried to do the right thing by calling them, even if that's ALL she did. Poor Zeb. Wonder if they are still gonna visit the parents?
