This just gets better and better with each chapter! And dont apologize for the cliffhangers! Yeah...everyone includinb myself hates them...but in a good way! Keeps us wanting more! NO! Needing more! This really is a great story. Your writing is amazing...the story line in unbeatable and im not kidding when I say this. I had tears in my eyes when Fox was being whipped and Cyril wasstanding wiyth the king...ugh! So more please! And again...thank you for sharing your talent with us :)

Yay! More of that hot as f*** smexing (fans self). Good to see Fox is human and feeling conflicted by what he has done and Cyril is being the perfect wifey taking care of his man the best way He knows how.
I'm waiting to hear more about Cyril's background and place in his society. I'm loving your frequency of updates I hope this continues. Definitely looking forward to the upcoming chapters and character development.

Fraid Ivar will talk?!? Smart person would think 2 GAG him!!! There's no way that's against the rules of any royals I've ever heard of. And now I'm even mor intreaged by the other leirians deference 2 Cyril(infinito???) Can't wait 2 c how it goes!!!

Ps: to execute Ivar publicly, they should go for a no nonsense fast death: hanging or beheading. I imagine a slower form of death would turn the crowd & give Ivar mor opportunity 2 spill his poisons

What a powerful chapter ! This is why I keep reading this . I just love it! Fox made the right choice , even if he didn't like it . So Cyril is a king or god ? I did not see that coming . Ohh I can't wait for the next chapter! Btw how's your car?

I dont even know how I started reading this story but I am so glad i did! The characters in the story are so intriguing and the pacing has been good. Im invested in the characters story and looking forward to seeing the mystery behind Cyril being discovered.

Lol I meant if Vidal tried to turn the crowd against Cyril or the prince to get out of his punishment, not during his 'trial'. And it was common practice to gag a condemned criminal about 2 b executed, in old times anyway, to prevent them from cursing the people who they hated or had a part in there death.
Glad for that closure, though really I feel its an oxymoron 4 the citizens 2 abhor death sentences- but feel its fine to slowly flay people alive... Now on 2 the next debacle: what is Cyril going 2 do about the other leirian, & what he told him??? Can't wait 2 find out!!! Plz update soon

OMG!! I long for authors like you to come more often and post/publish incredible works like this!! I barely traverse aff as often as I used to as good M/M slash works are becoming increasingly harder and harder to find. I can usually tell from the first couple of paragraphs when a book is going to be good in terms of writing style, level of maturity and that kind of thing. And I just knew when I started reading A Land of Gods and Kings that I may have found something to fill the void which will be left when Dedicatedquill eventually finishes off 'Loser'.
Can I just say you write some of the steamiest sex scenes I have ever read? I haven't gotten that hot and bothered reading fiction in a long time...(in one of the previous chapters when Fox says to Cyril '"We both know you don't need that," he whispered against my mouth. "And I'd prefer you let me fuck one out of you."' I just about died...those words made my day, week, month, hell they made 2015!!
I'm going to keep my eyes on this one and I hope you are able to keep the momentum you currently have going and see this through to a wonderful end and then proceed to publish.
