I actually wanna reply a lil bit to the nice answer to my comment you've given me.
Well, I do (most) often start a story at the actual beginning. Say, when the summary promises a storyline which is totally up my alley then I definitely start at the beginning. Not to say that I won't be disappointed later on when realizing the writing is just so lala. But when the summary makes me a bit interested but not totally gaga in hopes of having found a gem I tend to jump right into the middle of the story/action to see if maybe it develops to something I'd like (meant are story and characters), because I'm afraid a possible tedious beginning could make me turn away too fast. If I indeed get drawn into it I start anew later on at the beginning. Because when that happens I just have to read everything about the characters. I hope that makes sense? This is not to say your summaries suck lol...
And I indeed and read it all from the very start, the last chapters even a second time lol. Have I mentioned I absolutely dig dramarama? I'm sure I have at some point.
I have read some of your other "junk", as you so eloquently name it, over at fp. I remember reading the Emo Cowboy stories a real long time ago. Even back then I couldn't mind the lack of attractive characters (normally I would haha, shame on me) because you just have a way of making them so lively and real. I actually think it's the way you make them interact and communicate. Your dialogs are awesome. It makes one so very sympathetic for their daily woes :)
I guess I dun have to tell ya to keep it up because you already do lol. I'm looking forward to more!
