It will be interesting to see what Andrew and Ollie talk about. Also, I wonder, has no other male ever approached Garth the way Jamal was? It would certainly be interesting if some non-bride noticed Garth, and then to see Ollie's reaction to it… but of course I guess this early on, Ollie would probably not care.

I'm so glad to see an update from this! I love all your stories, and had wondered what happened to them. I continue to love the interactions between the characters, it's interesting how Oliver deals with his fear by trying to take a little bit of control over the situation. Can't wait to read more! Woah, another chapter? And I think this one was my favorite so far. I like Garth being authoritative, it reminds us that he did screw Oliver over (almost literally) but it's a nice balance to have him being about shy about Oliver, too. Kind of fleshes him out and makes him a little more human. So did the welcome home message with the bad spelling. No matter what terrible things Garth has done and might do in the future, it kind of reminds us that he came here as a kid and has been alone and fighting for survival since. Either way, I really like the drama. Oliver's not a whimpering weakling, either, but I don't think he really knew what he was getting into, coming to the planet. His realization that Garth "believes" him but just doesn't care, which isn't even the full truth of it, was pretty painful. Anyway, thanks for posting, I love reading this!

This chapter was really cute. I'm happy to ignore the possible fallout that would come if Oliver found out about Garth's part in Oliver's current predicament

This story is really well written, and while there are a lot of aspects to Garth's character I don't like, there's also a lot I can feel sympathetic about. You've handled the dub-con parts really well, considering Garth wants Oliver's approval even though he thinks he's willing to forgo it. I personally like "arranged marriage" stories if and only if they don't lead to graphic rape or assholery. I like how two people have to make do with an awkward and weird situation, trying to learn how to fall in love backwards. You've really shown that in this story, and I'm looking forward to more!

To be honest I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this story, but I'm so glad I decided to give it a shot. I loved it straight away and couldn't stop reading! Your concept is really interesting and surprisingly I'm not bothered at all over Garth being an ex-convict. I love the psychology of how lonely and desperate he is to do what he does to Oliver. I can't wait to see what the fall out will be there. I also really enjoyed that the last chapter was from Oliver's point of view. I wondered whether we'd get to see things from his side. I can't wait to read more and hope you get the chance to update soon. This story is going straight to the top of my favourites! Thanks for sharing.
