Beginning of chapter 13, I feel like this would have been the perfect place for Joseph to talk to Denise. We know he’s Troy’s and all, blah blah blah, but how nice would it be for them to talk and bond? The three of them all had that chemistry in the beginning and it’s like his relationship with her was sapped and fizzled out before it even had a chance to develop.
