Ok, so I had to speed read this over to remember where I left off at. So, here goes...
Right. Nyklas. About to be sacrificed by some crazy cult, makes his escape. I remember.
Incubus 2-
Riiiiight, yes. He somehow sees past the glamour keeping the fort from being seen by humans and CLIMBS in. Although there's something I forgot...the fort looking run down from the outside but amazing on the inside. Oh! Another thing I forgot about, that the crystal ball made him hesitate and stall....which OF COURSE makes him look like a thief in the night.
Incubus 3-
HAHAHA! OMG, I totally forgot about the hilarious banter between Bel and Zeke over the knocked out Nyklas/prisoner.
"Fucking cut it out, dipshit!"- Dying of laughter. Best line ever.
OH, I forgot about Mavka's hair and if it changes with the seasons.
Incubus 4-
"I climbed the vines!" Nyklas cried out pitifully, a harsh sob choking him.
"You climbed the..." Thanatos' hand froze making Nyklas gasp in relief.
- But it's true!
Incubus 5-
Awww, yes...this was how Thanatos met Jinx. Amazing flashback, as it explained everything. How a lonely, old incubus was able to feel sympathy and shame and came to fall for someone so tender as Jinx. Beautiful.
Oh my god that was absoloutly fantastic!!! I think that was my favorite chapter up to date!!!!! I really loved how Ezekiel saved Nyk!!!! That was sooo sweet!!! And how everyone ceme rushing back to rescue him!!!! I really Hope Nyk will be alright and the others will be able to coax him out of his shell again!!!! I really adore this story and can't wait to see what will happen next!!!! I'm so glad that you are updating this again and this one was so fast!!!! It made me really happy!!!!! Incubus 6-
Miscellaneous babble: So I survived the strep throat I had last week only for it to somehow morph into what I believe to be acute bronchitis (i'll find out for sure tomorrow)...but, I'm here at work just stalling until I can finally just go home and flop. I've been rationing my overthecounter meds and trying so hard to suppress my coughing, especially when attending to people. Anyway, re-reading these collabs are my only joy right now. So, thanks once again for all your hard work, dearies. Your collabs are glorious.
Now then, as for the chapter:
"I'm worried, love." The incubus said softly.
"Because of the strange boy?" Jinx asked quietly, adjusting his position so that he could see his master’s face.
Thanatos nodded. "He has the mark of a cult on him, The Keepers. They are no one I want around you or the others." The incubus frowned. "Most dismiss them as fanatics, but they're dangerous."
- Yeah, speaking of the fanatics...what are you planning to do with them in the long haul? I'm sure the whole crew could wage a little battle with them and get rid of them for good! Or maybe it's my hopeful thinking.
Most just dismiss The Keepers as crazies, but they have quiet followers in positions of power.
- Ooooh, right! That's a lot trickier. Blasted rich backers.
Then she'll drop all kinds of horrible things down on the world, the worst being eternal night.
- And WHYYYYY would anyone want this happening? What do the Keepers gain from the goddess's wrath, anyway?
The little beast nearly dropped the Orb of Phenally when I came in on him.
- Just what is the Orb of Phenally, anyway? What does it do?
"Master... You've always said you would never kill someone who doesn't deserve it; you would never kill an innocent," the boy spoke quietly, gazing up at Thanatos warily.
Thanatos didn't know what to say looking into those earnest eyes. "But if he's a threat to you or the others..."
"Perhaps you should question him more," the neko spoke carefully, watching the man's face for any sign of anger. "What if he is telling the truth? What if he is an innocent...?"
- LMAO! Jinx singlehandedly saving Nyklas's life.
Incubus 7 -
-sigh- Chapter starts off at a rough moment between Zeke and Bel. Poor little things just had no clue how to get along.
"I think you should let him wear something," the neko said quietly, his glance darting to the other boy again. "My clothes should fit him..."
- Once again, Jinx to the rescue!
Incubus 8 -
They said the sacrifice had to be made on the day of my birth, on my eighteenth birthday. And something about me being the last 'descendant'.
- Uh-oh! I forgot all about this. This is very concerning. The Keepers are surely still out looking for him all the while.
It was thin crepes fried and sugared, then stuffed with fruits and drizzled with honey.
- I'm getting so hungry now.
"Do you want more?" The incubus asked, offering another forkful. "Want to feel it pass your lips? Want to feel it fill your mouth before you swallow it down your throat?"
Nyklas nodded once again, opening his mouth for the bite.
Thanatos shook his head. "Use your words. Tell me you want it, that you want me to put it in your mouth."
Nyklas swallowed hard.
"I-I want it..." He breathed out.
- Once again, this scene is way hotter than it has any right to be. -fans self-
"Oh!" Mavka cried out, he placed his palm on the floor, sending the feel of earth back down to where it belonged. "Well, that didn't go as planned at all,” the dryad said with distress.
- LMAO! Poor Mavka...totally made it worse for a minute there. But, he came through in the end!
Incubus 9 -
Still love that scene where they tuck both Jinx and Nyklas in together and tell him about what they learned.
Oh! Mavka's flashback~
It had been six years since Jinx had decided to stay with Thanatos. Trust had been difficult for the neko at first, and his past haunted him. It had slowly gotten better with time and the surprising patience and gentleness of the incubus.
In that time they'd found a place to build a home. Jinx had expected a house, but it was turning into more of a castle.
- HAHA that makes sense
Ugh! They were trying to burn him down! Bastards. Jinx to the rescue once again, ha ha. Poor Mavka must have been miserable during the whole healing process, though.
Incubus 10 -
Ah, yes the Zeke and Bel talk! My beautiful boys.
"However, we haven't been able to make him behave. We haven't been dealing with him as a demon."
- In other words, he needs a good spanking. A very, very good spanking lmao.
Ah yes, Ezekiel was definitely one of the most traumatic and horrible back stories. Poor baby.
Incubus 11 -
Thanatos stiffened, an unheard growl trickling from his lips. He found himself quickly adding the pink-winged angel to his list of people he'd like to throw into a wall. Amon could go first.
- HA! Darn straight! All these so called men treating Zeke like a toy. Fudge all of them.
“Where on Earth did you come from?” The man’s voice held a tone of wonder as he reached out a gloved hand and smoothed it over one of Ezekiel’s muddied wings.
The little angel slowly looked up at the man with wary eyes, but said nothing. The man smiled, though the look in his eyes was not one of kindness. It was one of madness.
"You can come home with me and I'll take care of you... forever."
- Out of the frying pan and into the fire...Zeke's definitely had it quite tough.
"I was... Well there was a semi-sentient vine I've been working with..." Mavka brushed some dirt from his chest. "There was a misunderstanding and she decided she likes me... quite a lot... and has trouble with the concept that no means no..."
"I... What?" Thanatos blinked and looked at Ezekiel. The angel gave a slight shrug, looking exhausted.
- LMAO! OMG poor Mavka was getting molested by a plant.
Incubus 12 -
And it's Belial time! Bel's one of my faves, though they're all absolutely excellent characters, every last one of them.
“What about Ezekiel, how does he rank?” Thanatos asked. “What’s his relationship with you?”
Belial’s smile melted to a scowling pout.
When the demon stayed silent Thanatos tugged a spiky dark lock of Belial’s hair. “Well?”
“I don’t know.” The demon sighed dramatically and flopped on his back on the bed, wine-red wings spread wide under him.
- LMAO! He's like "I don't freaking know!"
Incubus 13 -
Bel's flashback~
Poor thing was all sorts of beaten up, too. Can't believe they broke his fingers so many times! Bastards.
Incubus 14 -
"Everything will be okay," the neko told him gently, cupping his cheek tenderly. "Master won't do anything to hurt you anymore. He'll keep you safe, just like he keeps us safe."
"Are you sure...?" Nyklas whispered, his mind full of turmoil and pain.
- Never doubt Jinx!
"Mhm?" Jinx hummed past his milk, continuing to sip the warm liquid, gazing over the top of the glass.
Nyklas hesitated before speaking.
"I-I want to stay here... Do you think... Do you think he will let me?"
- Of course, he will!
Incubus 15 -
"It's time to deal with Belial," Thanatos said calmly.
Ezekiel stiffened, his face paling slightly. His eyes cut to Thanatos, his jaw clenched tight.
"I can't." He spoke firmly, dropping his towel and leaving the bathroom.
- Don't chicken out, Zeke, it's for your own good! We swear it!
"You've both failed to exist as equals. It doesn't work. One of you must submit to the other, that's the point that it's come to. Either you take your place as his superior, and all that entails, or you accept he's above you as I'm above you." Thanatos' voice gentled. "I've thought long and hard about this, Ezekiel. We need peace in our home, especially with worries about that cult. This feud between the two of you has to stop. For Belial to stop fighting with you, your position as either above or below him needs to be made clear."
- Makes sense to me!
"I want to forget about him," he whispered. "I don't want to see Belial as... Him." The angel's eyes fluttered open, the blue orbs full of pain. He looked back at Thanatos. "I don't want my relationship with Belial to be based off of my past."
- Awww you DO care! My heart...Zeke and Bel are the OTP to me. They're my favorites.
"I've lived with you for months and I hardly know anything about you..." He looked back at Belial hesitantly. "I'm sorry... I- I've been selfish, thinking about my own worries and troubles from the past instead of focusing on my life now..."
- Aww, I think I'm gonna cry...again...that Zeke was able to final be honest and open like this. It's beautiful.
"I don't want you to ignore me," Belial said, voice soft, "or dislike me. I would rather have you cane me or break me. It would hurt less."
- My heart! I can't handle this...I just can't even...the babies.
"He wants you," the incubus' breath tickled Ezekiel's ear. "He wants you inside him... fucking him, making him moan like a wanton, your cock stretching and filling him as he's hot and tight around you."
- Woo! Do it Zeke! Go for it go for it go for it!
Ezekiel cried out again at the feeling of being inside Belial while being fucked by Thanatos at the same time. He never imagined himself being in the position he was in now, sandwiched between the two men, but he found that he loved it. He hoped this wouldn't be the last time the three of them did this.

Ezekiel's sky-blue eyes opened in surprise as burgundy lips caught his.
The kiss was unexpectedly gentle, Ezekiel couldn't help falling into it.
- Yep...re-reading that part made my entire day. Totally. I'm such a fangirl. Love those two SO much.
Incubus 16 -
While he was looking away, Belial reached over and slid the edge of Ezekiel's tunic up, exposing a long, creamy length of thigh that made the demon's mouth water more than the wonderful smells of breakfast filling the dining room.
- Ha ha ha! Yes, I remember this. Naughty, naughty Bel. Mm.
"I thought you were going to help them stop fighting!" The dryad said with distress. "Now they're even choking each other at the breakfast table?"
- Oh, Mavka...-snicker- was all a big misunderstanding, honest!
Thanatos noticed Mavka slumping back in his chair and frowned. With his coloring, it was hard to see the dark circles under the dryad's eyes, but they were there. His hair seemed a little less vibrant in its flaming reds and oranges, though it shouldn't have started fading in color until later in the season.
- GASP! No, not Mavka!
Thanatos held Mavka close, looking with more than his eyes at the dryad. Mavka's energy wasn't dangerously low, but it wasn't as it should have been. Thanatos knew just what the dryad needed.
Thanatos' mouth swept over Mavka's, the dryad's lips parting with a sigh. The smaller man let the incubus hold him up as Thanatos' tongue swept past his lips to tease and taste. The incubus let his energy trickle gently into the dryad. Mavka moaned softly, fingers clinging to the bigger man's soft white shirt. Thanatos gave carefully, trying to avoid overwhelming the dryad. Thanatos didn't think Mavka would appreciate coming in his pants at the breakfast table.
When Thanatos pulled back, Mavka's cheeks were dark and his mossy eyes dilated. His hair was bright again, the flaming colors of fall trees.
- Whew! But, still? Why did he look so put out earlier?
Incubus 17 -
"Your- your lover...?" He spoke quietly, vividly remembering the intense feelings of pleasure he had felt when Thanatos had been inside of him. Even though it had been rape, Nyklas couldn't deny that it had felt good. Extremely good.
"If you wanted to be." Thanatos' smile promised the bliss of bodies entwined, slick with sweat. "Now, in the future, or never. It's up to you. I won't lie and say I don't want you, though."
- Hee hee...that Eros bloodline, man.
"Other than that, just be careful what you touch. There are quite a few magical or strange things we've collected over the years or that Mavka might be growing. If you're curious, ask. Belial almost blew his tail off last year poking at some odd thing Mavka had grown."
- I have a bad feeling about the not touching things part. Wasn't he really drawn to that Orb thing?
Incubus 18 -
"Belial likes to tease, Nyklas. But he speaks the truth: You’re very good looking. You're a demigod, after all." Jinx said softly, touching a piece of the brunet’s soft hair between his slender fingers.
Nyklas blushed again, but gave Jinx a small smile.
"A demigod?" Ezekiel's bright voice cut through the air sharply, pulling everyone's attention to the blond angel.
- LMAO! Zeke was like "hold up, what?"
"I've heard terrible stories about demigods..." Ezekiel's voice was soft when he spoke again, his eyes glancing up at Nyklas briefly before falling back to his lap. "Towns burned to the ground, armies defeated by a single man. Unearthly power held in the hands of someone practically immortal leads to disaster...
- Wait, that might actually be a GOOD thing if he's ever captured!
Ezekiel pressed his lips together and looked at Nyklas for a few silent moments before finally nodding. He let out a shaky sigh and hesitantly leaned his head on Belial's shoulder, giving the demon an apologetic look. The demon was stiff for a moment before allowing himself to relax. He rested his cheek on Ezekiel's soft blond curls.
- My heart...my babies...
"Each of the men have a room they've chosen and made their own." Thanatos' eyes glowed golden, drawing Nyklas in as the incubus spoke. "They also each have something else I gave, a gift for each of them. Jinx has a golden ear hoop. Mavka has a necklace. Ezekiel has a wrist cuff. Belial has a belly-button ring." The incubus smiled as Nyklas looked curiously at the little box. "I'll ask you what I asked them, to always wear it. There's magic in it that will let you communicate with me if you're in trouble or if you simply need to talk to me." Thanatos laid his hand over the small box, his hand warming Nyklas' palm and fingers. "If you're ever in danger I will be there. You just need to call."
- That'd be helpful if he's ever captured, too!
Incubus 19 -
"Mavka fell asleep in his tree, and Bel and Zeke fell asleep on the couch together..."
- I may have fangirl squealed just a little at the Bel and Zeke falling asleep on the couch together.
