I really like the way this story is going. You're taking what could have been a long droning romance or a shallow harem story and found some kind of happy medium. I know this is in the f/f section but I'll honestly be disappointed if her and Wilfred don't go anywhere. Imho... keep the lady love but don't toss the boytoy by the wayside.
And of course the actual fantasy aspect of the story is on point. I like the take on demons and spirits. I wonder if they are all melee psychopaths. It would balance out things... like the chi blockers in Legend of Kora. Will our protagonist get any skills of her own though? Since she seems like a fighter maybe martial arts...something more than Haymakers lol. No offense intended at all, I just must have heard that word 7 times in one scene
