Take your time writing, but remember that sometimes you can just let the characters do their own thing, and your only job is to write their story the best way you can :) Don't try to go over your capabilities. You're writing style is very good, and your characters so far are also really interesting to read about. You created a universe and explained about it in a way that was very easy to understand.
