I thought Jess was a vampire too, but I think he might be a incubus, which uses mind control. Love the story can't wait to read more! G

WOW I just got done reading this from start to now and I keep thinking that Jesse is a Fae of some sort or a fox spirit but not a vampire so to speak or at least not the blood sucking kind... I have this book that described a boy meeting a fox spirit as a child and he saved the fox so the fox marked him and as he got older he met the fox again only as a man. The man made and rented costumes and because the fox marked him the man not realizing it would lay in the rented clothing when returned and would fall asleep not knowing he was doing it. In the story the fox finds him and figures out what he had been doing and explained that the man was getting a residue of emotions from the costumes that was keeping him from being found by the fox who marked him. There's more to that story but I'm getting the idea that Jesse is supernatural in some way. Especially when he says he's 149 but to appease normal's he is really lying about his age when he say's he's 19. What ever the case maybe I can't wait to read it to it's end and I'm sure I'll hope for a sequel as soon as it ends! Thank YOU for sharing and like I said I can't wait to read more! read ya laters!

Just finished reading all chapters back to back! :D Very interesting! At times I was suspecting that Jesse might be a vampire! :P but after that last chapter, I don't think so!
