I laughed SO hard when I read that. I had a feeling he'd say something like that, super afraid to "break" the baby. I remember having similar thoughts when I first had to take care of my baby niece and nephew. Ha. They survived so many things.
And, fuck. Now I'm wondering what Silverbirch's first name is. Dagnabbit.
LMAO! I had a feeling he'd get Fellow back for forcing him to feed her like that. Still, poor thing.
Ellette's a lovely name. She's absolutely precious. I'm wondering if that red hair was from her father, in which case I don't blame Hope for having fallen for a redhead. XD

Major Spoilers in this Review!! Don't read unless you've read the first 11 chapters already:
Alright, now that I'm on an actual PC, I can leave a real review. This story is amazing. We're not seeing things from the mere surface with him. All of his deepest, inner thoughts are shoved right out there in our faces. I freaking love that. He's selfish, lazy, greedy, and despite all those shortcomings, he's a damn good person. He keeps denying it, and would probably deny it to his death, but a "bad" teacher wouldn't react fast enough to save an entire classroom. And despite how hot a woman is, a "bad" man wouldn't be caving in to all of her hormonal swings, especially not if she's on her last stretches of life. Deny it all he wants, he does what he feels is right. He's far from perfect, but he's so humane that you can't help but feel bad about his own shame over his lineage. He should own it, like he owns his biting sarcasm. I also absolutely adore Fellow and applaud that he's willing to stick it out to help Silverbirch in lieu of his "aunt". As for Hope herself, she was a trip. She was every mother, aunt, sister, cousin, and friend you could imagine in a woman. And though he tried not to, he did become attached to her enough to consider her a friend, which made her passing quite bittersweet. I wonder where the baby's father's going to come into play, if at all. For now, I wish the two of them (Silverbirch and Fellow) the best of luck balancing caring for that baby and school. I really enjoyed reading this one.

Yeah, it is. I've been on a death watch and it's terrifying waiting between breaths, wondering if the previous one was the last they'd ever take. I hope the baby will be alright. I also have a feeling he's gonna get attached to her, just in time for the father to show up and try to take her.

I love Silver's attitude. It's funny how he's surrounded by magical beings, is one himself, but seems so realistic and human. He makes me laugh.

OMG!!! ROTFLMAO!!! I regret now skipping over this fic so many times cuz the summary was vague. No other interesting ones were recently posted or updated so I just clocked on it. Man I could not stop laughing!!! I'm so sorry I misjudged it!!! I can't wait to read more!!!
As for the less than stellar: the first chapter confused me, it seemed like I was reading a student's POV rather than a teachers, or that it was shifting between 2 ppl w out specifying. It just seems like that is something that should've bin explained at the start for clarity. And how old is silverbirch anyway??? He seems like he's too young 2 b teaching, but 2 old 2 b taking crap from parents or students. So??? And when might the m/m begin???:-) Looking 4ward 2 that very much, w ur unique humor anyway. Keep up the great work
