Eventhough the chapters are pretty short this is quickly becoming my favorit story!
Eithos is just so cute haha!

Just wanted to say that I love the story so far (ch12). Really interesting, and you can immerse yourself in the world, the creatures and the characters. I'm also very delighted by the recent revelation. It gives the story a great twist that will surely push the plot into an even more exciting direction.

I'm looking forward to a new chapter next week =)

this is good. i like the fact you take the time to build the characters and develop their relationship in a realistic manner. most fics (at least the ones i've read) introduce the protagonist, the would-be partner and bam! they'd fall right into sex. while there's appeal in those kinds of fics, yours certainly holds interest even without the smutty scenes yet. i eagerly anticipate what's going to happen next. there're so many exciting things to be noted - the other eithos, that top predator, the concept of a revolving but not rotating planet (imagine that! how different a place that would be!), the flora and fauna esp. the (ugh!) jelly lizard, etc. oh, and it's okay not to list off how Dr. Pyry (how is this pronounced, anyway?) looks like in one paragraph. you've been dropping off hints like he's lean, stands 5'7, medium-length ash brown hair (i don't recall if it's wavy or not, but i envisioned him with wavy hair anyhow). i imagined him to be pale (being a scientist who hardly goes out of the lab), his personality makes me think he'd have dark eyes like brown or black with an asian feel to it like the rest of his face which is a bit androgynous if not for the beard he's growing, less-than-broad shoulders (what with the shaking and stress), oh, and long calloused fingers.

You asked at the end of Protein how Pyry is pictured from the description you have given so far.. I see him as similar to James Mcavoy with very light brown hair (in Earth sun) and very deep brown in Amazon sun. I find myself very excited for this story so far.. and very curious where you will take the relationship between Pyry and the Eithos.

Oh I pictured Pryr as being sort of average guy brown hair and eyes, medium height, maybe on the skinny side, nice enough not to be a social outcast but not the center of attention either, someone the group he was working for might have overlooked
