Wow! With understanding the language, I wonder if this is because the eithos is such a fast learner (beyond human capabilities) and has picked up the ability to learn a language, or if all eithos have a native language (and therefore the skills are already there to build on)...Does that make sense? Sorry, it's late here ;)

Great job with the realisism - I did wonder about the lack of a med kit, food intolerance etc 'cause any of these could be deadly. I imagain the eithos would be really scary in real life, but I guess Pyry would sort of be used to alien life forms and probably considerably more tolerant. :D

Loved this chapter! Pyry behaves so believably, you're a very talented writer and I'm really enjoying this story. I hope our eithos survives... Btw is this the novel you mentioned that you're working on? Looking forward to more :D

Your quality of writing is pretty high, you might consider looking at some of the sites where you could maybe make a little money off of your hobby (like lessthan3,etc)?
