Stories like this always have a point that piss me off - blood should have been spilled! I like your boy though and would have hated to hear he spent the next decade in prison, so I guess I'll get over it. Reading this story gave me a better perspective on Karen and Laci; so you're Laci huh? Love your work, I really wanted to track the mother and boyfriend down and do what I do best; I don't often get lost in a story! One thing, and please don't take this the wrong way, but using their names so often gets repetitive, instead of saying Laci try: the awestruck teen; the pretty little raven-haired girl; things like that. All in all, have to say bravo on both stories and the author!
