Personally, the only confrontration I believe it could happen, was if someone else wanted Chrissy. Jake has a problem with women and it would be funny if a woman, at the club, wanted to buy, no matter the price, Chrissy out of him. Not that it would matter in terms of fate since she would still end up at the zoo but, it still got me thinking how frustrating it would be if Chrissy loved her new owner simply because it's not Jake.
