One down and how many more to go? Seeing as we don't know who are at the house the body count could be enormous. I can see Carol becoming a vengeful angel.
It is time for Max to install permanent defences at the house or maybe even find a new home.

Another great chapter. Love the way that Max is getting the sheriff a job to get the newer girls good families. Still do not know who the mole is. I am betting it is Legion because he hsi not happy with the way that Max is trying to help everyone instead of just wiping out their memory of the bad parts of their past. Hope that the sheriff is agreeable to the offer of a job. But only you know and I am sure that will will let all of us know in your own sweet and wicked way.

Keep up the great work and hope that you have a speedy recovery. Will be awaitimg the next chapter.

This was a very good interlude as it has shown that Max's compassion for others and helps in the of Legion. I like the idea of the hive mind becoming one but as scientist now believe that they would still maintain the ability to think as an individual so keep that in mind too.

The only question is did Max go deep enough to check that there was no back door or a fail safe in case he broke his programing.

Good. Chapter was outstanding. Nice to see that Max was able to save the priest and did not have to kill him or leave him in the virtual world the rest of his life. Also nice to see that the sheriff was a good guy after all and did not know just close he was to being turned into swiss cheese. Now for everyone to have a good Christmas and then find out who the hacker was. Would be really funny if it turns out that Leagion was trying to kill Max so that he could take over the program of the people who was chipped and turn them into a mindless killing machines. Shades of Terminator Three the rise of the machines. Will just have to see when you get back from recovering from your back surgery. But like I have stated over and over only you know the outcome and you will let the rest of us know in your own time. Get your rest and get well soon and listen to your medic and your family.

Great chapter. Still hope that they have a merry Christmas. So are the spiders going to make it two sheriff' s zero Max. I believe the sheriff is the one who is responsible fior Petrie kidnapping and other children in the area. Hope that they do not kill the sheriff so that they can question his to find out. Looks like it may be one of them getting shot. Either Max, Rick or Mike. But since neither Rick or Mike have a vest on it looks like one or both of them. Will have to wait and see since only you in your evil and sick way knows what is going to happen. Keep up the good work and will be awaiting the next chapter.

It just dawned on me, none of this ever happened.It's all a daydream of Max's while he lays in the grass.
