Holy shit, Dee!! What a chapter! I actually remember from the original the part about Elliot getting shot in the leg, but I didn't remember the other parts of the chapter.
Now I'm on pins and needles hoping that Marc is going to be ok. Of course, as well as Elliot. And who got away? It better not have been Frank. The bastard.
Great chapter, Dee! :)

Absolutely loved the suspense in this chapter!
The tension between Marc and Frank was superbly delivered. A great achievement where everything between them disappeared to a pinpoint of absolute dread entangled in a game of truth or dare.
The final reveal of the wire was brilliant and extremely well written. Not rushed or overly played, just a snarled momentum of tension balanced on a knife edge. And my goodness, did you do justice to Marc’s character.
This is without a doubt one of my favourite chapters. It embodies your talents and typifies why this is such a shrewd read.
Thoroughly enjoyed!

Do not believe that Glenn will let this lie unattended. He is either saving the footage to create something egregious and therefore exposing Det. Reece(as in the email to all and sundry) in the worst way possible, or just biding his time before Det. Reece hangs himself with his own rope.
Thank you for the continued updates.

Really enjoying the updates but am anxious to see more of Elliot and Marc together. I like how vulnerable Elliot is and I'm hoping to learn more about Marc soon. I really appreciate the depth of this story. Is it bad that I kind of like Glenn? Maybe I should say that I love to hate him, but every story needs a good shit disturber. Can't wait to read more.

Yeah, I don't believe for a second Glenn is going to brush this under the rug. I think he'll do anything to Elliot to see his demise. I'm sure he's planning something. Who knows, maybe he had someone stake the place out and that's who walked past Elliot's car.

Since my computer started on a slow death awhile ago and I haven't been able to read anything I had no idea you were redoing this story but I'm happy to see that you haven't abandoned it :) I'm looking forward to to getting to the newer chapters that we haven't seen yet but until then I'll enjoy getting caught up with the guys ^_^ It's nice to see you posting again and I can't wait to see how you finish the story off :)

Good story although I do feel like there is a lack of character description in the beginning of the story. As a reader I am more likely to commit to a story and love it if the author is able to create a visualization of each character. What doss Marcus look like? or Elliot? How old are they? Other then that I'm looking forward to more!

Wow, Elliot is certainly taking chances with Marc. I just hope that Glenn keeps his mouth shut. He's such a loose cannon I wouldn't trust him.

Just found your story recently and have been loving the updates and knowing that the story is complete. The only thing I regret is not reviewing sooner and for that, I'm sorry. I really like the theme and characters and I love how flawed everyone in the story is - maybe not Maria, she just seems like a sweetheart. I've really enjoyed your story so far and I'm even reviewing after chapter 15 even though I know 16 is up now which takes great restraint for me, lol. Thanks for sharing your story and engaging characters! I'm so glad they are finally hooking up and that its written well. Nothings worse than reading a great story and being disappointed when the characters finally become intimate. But I'm sold on the glimpse shared in ch15. Okay, on to 16. Much love.

Always felt that Elliott’s inability to reflect on the negative circumstances that clutter his life, has been his downfall.
He always seems to get to a point of realisation that something is wrong (or in his case, sheer panic), but then steps back instead of taking action. He has a nasty habit of running and then wallowing in his own misfortune (he needs to address the cause, not treat the symptoms with alcohol). He can and will continue to do so until someone or something backs him into a corner and he has to decide whether it will be fight or flight.
Thank you for the regular posts.
