I think I know which "confusing" sentence in the previous chapter you have rephrased. It's the one where Richard tells him about selling him as a fighter.
So I guess he won't be sold as a fighter if he is cooperative? Sooo Hugo and the small part of their group sitting and being assessed is probably the ones becoming sex-slaves?

Again fantastic chapter, although I am a bit sad that Richard wasn't in it :3 !

I really like your story so far. Reading it feels almost real and I suppose it is which is so unfortunate. I love a good survival story and I feel like that is what this is and is leading into. Great characterizations and I really love how different the plot is. It's easy to write something that's been done to death, it's truly celebratory to read an original story that is truly original. Keep up the good work, I look forward to reading more. Much love.

Richard wants to sell him as fighter? Well, maybe that sentiment will change in the long run.
Poor Ant on that pole. Hopefully he'll get some kind of rest as he would probably completely collapse soon otherwise.

This has been a great story so far and I'm curious where Anthony will end up.

As always it was a wonderful read. You really know how to create an intense emotional atmosphere and I truly enjoy your style. Just... well, I also hoped he would be a sex slave... It sounds awful xD but... I was really hoping to see some "action" between him and Richard xD.

Wow, I love your fast updates. Of course, I am liking this story even more. I was getting worried about Anthony - I think harder than not eating for a few days would be not drinking water. Considering, if I recall correctly, Anthony had alcohol the night he was abducted, which dehydrates the system, a couple of days after without water could kill him. Can't imagine how painful that would be. At least he got to drink rainwater. When he tried to run from Richard, I was half cheering for him and half like, noooo don't do it. haha Richard is clearly not entertained by him, though he's got to be used to kids having panic attacks and running in terror. I mean, what do you expect when you're doing your best to scare them to death? So, it seems Richard is planning to sell him as a "fighter"? I wonder exactly what that refers to. I thought of some kind of militia or terrorist group that are known for kidnapping kids and forcing them to fight for them. Or some kind of human cockfighting game? Either way, doesn't sound like a good time for Anthony. I like dark stories, but I still hope there's a happy ending for Anthony and these slavers get what's coming to them. Thanks for writing!

Richard was threatening to sell Anthony as a fighter if he disobeyed his orders again. He also said he would whip him before he sold him as a fighter if he had to make that decision. I did not get the sense that Anthony was going to be sold as a fighter and I hope his not sold as a fighter. In a way it would a mistake to sell him as a fighter since he has a small frame and will likely be killed quickly. If they went through all the trouble of kidnapping him why would they put him in a situation were he dies quickly.
Omg... I am ranting but I really like the story and I can't wait until the next chap is posted.
