Woah, an update! I'm so happy, I thought this had been abandoned! Thank you! Though the chapter was pretty dark... well, darker than most of the other chapters. I'm glad Ant was able to protect Hugo. And even if it's undoubtedly for perverse reasons, I'm glad Mr Coleman seems fond of Hugo, hopefully that means thing are easier for him. At least, easier than things are for Ant. And that saved Ant in the end, thank goodness, especially considering that other boy died. That seemed like a massive error on Mr Coleman's part, to issue such a severe punishment without monitoring it that resulted in a death. Poor guy, what a terrible way to go. I am kind of hoping Richard does dole out some massive punishments to the guys who did this. Even if he only sees them for the money he'll make off of them, at least he does value the slaves' lives, and even to some extent, is conscious about not pushing them too far too quickly. Well, Ant's still alive and in one piece, so that's good, though this story keeps me at the edge of my seat because I really have no idea what will happen next, be it the good or the bad. Thank you again for the update! I am hoping for more updates soon. :)

I assume he will be Ant' s Master, so I'm eager to see them meet. I imagine him to be a tall, controlled, cold as ice type of man with malicious features, if not bordering on cruel.

Good story I am a fan…but as of lately I feel there is a slight disconnect in regards to Anthony’s behavior. He recently just saw a dead body rotting in the sun, and then realized that he is the only one out of the group to have been raped by Christopher. This is because he was once again not compliant. After the recent consequences and from what he observed (men with guns everywhere at the compound) I cannot rationalize that he would at the end of chapter eleven would decide to escape again. He is already on their watch list I would think he would try and gain their trust first or gain Peters trust and use that to his advantage. Maybe even strategically try and gain or establish a relationship with Victor or Richard and then use privileges they may provide to his advantage and escape. (Of course we just received mention of Victor so ….)
Since, Anthony’s random let’s make a run for it plan has failed in the past, and we now know that this illegal whatever has at least been operating there for three years. Then we could assume that Richard has probably hired local bounty hunters who are familiar with the forest and tracking people. Anthony does not know how to cover his tracks so a run into the forest escape plan looks grim. Plus as mean or creepy as this may sound I do not want Anthony to escape yet I feel like we have only touched the surface of what his kidnapping/imprisonment and potentially future life as a slave will be like.
