I wonder what would be the end of Anthony. How far will be his slave training goes?

It was such a bittersweet chapter. Ant is definetly starting to find his place in slavery and his spirit is so beaten up he can only try and escape pain sometimes, while choking down on his feelings. I still wish for him to be happy, though I fear that as long as he won't find anything to live for that is not escape, he will continue to suffer.

The characters are all really interesting, and I wait for the next update

I always get so excited when I see an update from this story! One of the few stories that keeps me coming back to this archive. Though it's almost hard reading your updates because it's so hard to stop at the end of the chapter! Anyway, interesting changes, looks like Anthony really is exempt from the sex slavery stuff... English teaching sounds much better. I can understand why the others would not trust him, but honestly, they should know as well as anyone that no one seems to have any choice in the situation. And considering Ant got his back torn up from an alleged "escape" attempt, what in the world do they expect? I suppose not being able to communicate with them may have something to do with that alienation, too. Still can't figure Peter out. He's interesting, but while I'm hoping he still wants freedom, it kind of sounds like he really does just listen to Richard loyally. Though when Richard said something like "you don't want to be a slave forever, do you?" it was kind of chilling. Still, I think it'd be more emotionally tormenting to be forced to kidnap these kids than just bear it yourself. Thanks for the update, hope your inspiration continues!!

It's so sad ;; and I'm actually a little bit afraid that things are going to get even more difficult in the next few chapters. It's hurting me to see Ant so broken like that. Thank yoi for the update, it was really good. It's awesome that you manage to update regularily right now :)

Ahh always excited to see an update from this story! Poor Ant. Well, being forced to teach English isn't as bad as other things, I guess, though talk about awkward, trying to teach with Richard there. I can't help but wonder more about Peter. I know he doesn't exactly have a choice in the matter, but Richard really puts a lot of trust in him, when he'd have lots of opportunity to escape... maybe he's worried he's this far in, and is responsible for the kidnappings as well, so can't turn to anyone for help? I really wish I could see how Peter and Richard interact when no one is watching, what kind of dynamic they have. Still, Peter somehow getting away does seem like Ant's best chance at freedom. Richard is still my favorite villain, you're so good at writing him so frightening even when he's being "nice". Wonder what will happen to Ant next... I also wonder if Vitor would be angry that Richard destroyed Ant's chance at being sold, isn't that a big loss of potential money? Or maybe not, if he really is replacing Peter. The only bad part about this story is getting to the end of each chapter, and having to wait to read the next one!

Im glad to see that you actually write and post it on a regular basis! Thae chapter was disturbing, I admit, but how can it be realistic and true without all the ugly bits? Tgank you for the update, have fun on your trek.
