I really enjoyed this final chapter. You did a real good job writing it and bringing all the characters a happy closure. I was surprised how easily Quintus was subdued by Unnufer's thugs as he was a soldier. I did enjoy Formosus coming to his rescue though. I will keep watch for the epilogue chapter.

I am glad we learned more about Junius' past and thank goodness he's opened up about and let the tears flow. I really like Junius and Aulus as a couple too.
I am sad to it's ending and hope you have plans to write more stories just as fascinating.

Drat, I hate what happened to Junius when he was just a child and he was so lucky to have been saved by Titus Cassius. LOL, poor Marcus, “the idiot sculptor” he just can't seem to get a break.

Wow! Can't believe this story is almost coming to an end! I like the loose ends being tied up and that Junius and Aulus are a couple. And Junius finally crying over his past hurts was touching. Thanks for the update and can't wait for the next one! :)

I am so sad this is nearing an end and hope you consider writing one-shots in the future featuring our favorite couples. I like how you explained about the body dopplinger of Marcus. I was wondering how they pulled it off and now know how it was done. Now, I just hope Quintus and Formosus don't run into trouble before they leave.

Oh, I love Aulus..... thank you! I can't wait for Junius' and his first time together! Poor Junius! I hope Aulus tracks down the Roman who did that to him and make him pay dearly.
I loved learning the details about the dead body that I though was Quintus too.
I can't believe this is almost over. It's been one exciting journey and I will miss them all.

Great chapter! I hope the Prince doesn't find out the truth behind the peace offer or the there could be trouble. This chapter needed to be done and you nailed it as usual. Good writing!
