Wow, two updates in one day!!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!!

I loved learning more about Formosus' past and his cousin. I can't wait to find out who he really is and what his true name is. I like Iason especially knowing he really seems to want to help Formosus get away. I hope Marcus hurries up and does something to help them both out but he is already jealous of Iason so don't know what will happen there.

Oh, poor Formosus being touched in such a humiliating way!

I have to admit I occasionally have dreams about this story. I love this story so much and you are so gifted to be able to right one like it. You bring the characters to life for me in a very vivid way.

Bonus chapter! I wasn't expecting you to update again so fast.

The flashback scene of Formosus made me cry. I am thinking that Formosus must be someone very important and am wondering did Quintus know this?

I hope that both Iason and Formosus escape together. At least, Marcus is following them and knows pretty much what is going on. Oh, those lechers daring to touch Formosus like that! I wonder what Quintus would do to them for touching his slave in that manner but he's not around to find out.

Oh no, no, no!!! I am scared now. I hope Formosus doesn't get sold or if he does it's to someone nice like Quintus. If he gets away, won't they send the slave hunters after him? I am glad Marcus is close by. Iason is really nice and I hope he can run away with them. 3 are better than 1 or 2 and they can have an extra lookout to help them keep safe.

A bit more about Formosus past but not yet his real name is known ;)I wish Iason could help him to deal with some of his feelings. I trust Iason more than Marcus, although this one is very determined to help Formosus. And now he's jealous:D

I hope Iason can help Formosus recall his real name. Now we are learning more about his life before Quintus and that he had a cousin named Brigo, and how he was captured by the Romans.

This part of his flashback sequence intrigued me; “Cousin, listen to me. You must run. You know that the most important thing is that you survive. You are the only one left. Go into the woods and hide until they leave. Try to reach the territory belonging to the Trinovantes, they will help you. But let no one know who you are. Forget your name and your origins. You are a simple village lad, fleeing from the Romans, do you understand? You must go now.”

Is Formosus from royalty of some sort? Who are the Trinovantes and why would they be able to help him? There are so many unanswered questions.

Argh! I can't stand that dirty slave trader touching putting his fingers in Formosus.

Marcus better come up with some money so he can buy Formosus but what will become of Iason. Will he be sent back to his Master?

Oh, I forget to say the other day when I left a review that I read you answer to my question about Spartacus. It makes sense to me now after I went back and re-read it sorry I got so excited thinking he would make an appearance, lol. I understand it now.

I am really happy that Formosus met Iason and have a feeling they are going to be great friends. I bet that Iason will teach Formosus many more things about himself that he has forgotten over the time he has spent with Quintus. Oh dear, I am so worried that Balbus will try and sell him to the highest bidder instead of taking him back to Rome. I bet that Marcus will be jealous of Iason too once they meet up again.

Gee Iason arrogant much :) . But I guess if you're the only one standing between remaining rich and becoming poor & destitute for your so-called master I guess he has a right to be. Iason does bring up a good point I didn't think of. Of course those slave hunters would probably get shits tons more money from private slave auctions than the rewards they would get back at Rome :( . And I wonder what Marcus is gonna think when he finds Formosus missing, yes he is kinda irritating to Formosus but I liked him enough :D !

I don't know quite what to make of Iason and it's a wonder he's still among the living with that attitude of his. I just hope he doesn't get Formosus into even more trouble than he's already in. It would be interesting if the slave hunter did put Formosus up for auction and Marcus ended up buying him off the block.
