Update! I was starting to get paranoid but then realized it hasn't been that long since you last updated and I am just spoiled rotten, lol.

Thanks for answering/explaining my question about Brigo and the events of the massacre from that night.

I am very curious as to where Marcus ran off to and what he's been up to. I hope he's not involved with Formosus' capture or I will be seriously pissed off at him!

Who is this mysterious person at Quintus' villa and are Junius and Iason in danger? I am pretty confident of their abilities to protect themselves should the need arise though.

The scene at the end sort of reminded me of Goldilocks and The Three Bears, "Who's been sleeping in my bed", "Who's been eating my porridge". Sorry, that image just crossed my mind, lol.

I am reading this through to the end no matter how scared I am for Formosus and his friends. It's a dangerous world they are living in. I just wish Quintus was still alive and could save Formosus.

who could have broken into the villa? Nobody is coming to my mind at the moment unless... naw it couldn't be :( .

Oh my gosh! Who broke in to Quintus' villa? Is it Marcus? I hope Junius and Iason will be safe and that they find the message from are looking for.

I am relieved Formosus doesn't seem to be in any danger right now.

I definitely love this story! It's just sad and unfortunate that Quintus died. :'( Quintus had deeply loved Formosus and it's sad that he let his status hindered his feelings for Formosus but still, he never ceased to show his love and affection for Formosus. And it's really touching even in the last moments of his life he still put Formosus first before his self. It's really heartbreaking. :'(

But I hope he could atleast be with Marcus instead? I find Marcus really cute and innocent. :)


There are so many new characters and I guess there would still be a lot that would be introduced soon. That includes Formosus' new Master. I just hope that he's good to Formosus. Poor Formosus facing so many obstacles and to say that he's still mourning Quintus' death. :( And he seems to be dragged away from from what his Master's instruction for him, for what he really intended to do, there seems to be many hindrance on his journey to Tibur. He seems to be dragged farther and farther away from Tibur. And it seem it would be a long time 'til he can get there. But, I really hope not. I wish some miracle happens and someone will save him so he could get to Tibur and would finally know and his Master Quintus' final words.

I'm also glad that finally Formosus or shall I say Elisedd's past are slowly being revealed. And I think he did love Brigo too, right?
It's so sad that he decided to just forget about his family and where he came from. Junius did really have a point in there.


I like the story so far and I think and wish it would still be a long way to go since I'm really loving this srory so much I don't want this to end so fast! :)

Aw Crap! I thought the kind stranger was Formo's new master. Now I'm worrying who the real master is :( ! And with all this going down obviously the others didn't rescue him in time since he's on a boat heading towards wherever. It's sad though that at this rate Formo will never get that final message from Quintus waiting for him in Tibur.

I loved the flashbacks in this chapter!

Now, I am worried about who Formosus' new Master is and the fact that his assistant made mention that he was instructed to buy a new slave for his Master's pleasure concerns me. What happened to his previous slave and how was he treated? I hope Formosus is not being drugged with Opium which would be highly addictive.

I love the flashbacks about Quintus even though they make me miss him more. I feel so sorry for Formosus. I want him to find out what his Master left him and of coarse for his Master to be alive! I still have hope that they will be together again :)

I am so happy when you say Formosus will get his happy ending but still don't know how can it be when Quintus won't be with him. Now he is being taking away to goodness knows where and doesn't even know who his new Master is yet. It seems like he has given up but I hope not.

The drama and intrigue continues along with another sort of cliffhanger. I think my heart did break in this chapter now that Formosus feels like he will never return to Tibur or be able to read the last message his beloved Quintus left for him. Now, I am really concerned that one of his friends including possibly Marcus could have betrayed him. Marcus might have because he was rejected by Formosus plus almost killed by him earlier so he might have done it.

I am very curious as to why the Romans never took an interest in Brigo considering his youth and good looks. Instead of killing him, I am surprised he wasn't raped and sold.
