Oh, I wanted to mention that I wish they had died together in each other's arms but it was close!
It said that Quintus died looking at the statue of his beloved friend.... shouldn't it be lover?! It was Formosus he was looking at, right? I know they were friends too but to me it was more than friendship.

I've been away on vacation and just got back yesterday. I am so awed inspired by this story that I am going to try and one day save enough money to take a trip to Rome.
I want to thank you for updating so frequently and for completing this story and not leaving your readers in limbo like so many other authors here do.
I loved how every one got their happy ending. I said a final goodbye to Quintus and Formosus happy they are in the afterlife starting a new journey together.

I just checked out your tumblr page again and read the 'missing last chapter' the death of Quintus and Formosus! Oh, how sad but romantic and I loved hearing what happened to all our other friends. Thank you!

I can't believe it's over already. I hope you'll do oneshot story focusing on Marcus and Bandak and one for Aulus and Junius, but those can be for a different time. Now, I'm anticipating your next story, "Victoriana". I can't wait to read more. :)

I was expecting something different for the epilogue and didn't need the kleenex like I thought I would but did enjoy the hitch. I am kind of confused as to who the guard is though.....

I just checked your new tumbler blog and saw what you posted about the Etruscan guard! So, it's a relative of Aulus? I would ask the questions there but it won't let me.
