Glad to read another chapter! More information about Formosus past; interesting to know that he comes from a brave lineage. That could be the reason of his behavior sometimes.

I had suspected that Narses was a eunuch; poor guy though ;) Maybe Formosus will look at him diferently from now on.

Marcus's father is gonna be spitting fire when he finds his son gone again! But this time it wasn't by Marcus's own volition. Who could possibly be the mystery attacker? The list of questions only seem to get longer by the minute.

I am not sure if I reviewed this story before but just in case I didn't I wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying this one. I don't think I have read hardly any historical dramas on AFF such as this one. It's brilliant, detailed and full of intrigue. Kudos to you for writing such an accurate and well written fiction full of colorful and life sized characters.

I am so happy because three of my favorite stories (The Statue included) have been updated around the same time so I got to enjoy reading all of them at once!

I really am getting excited that Formosus will get his happy ending after all!!!!

Poor Formosus :( The boy can't get a break - he needs to be rescued asap. I have a feeling it wont be easy and his new Master might not want to give him up. I see that I was right from the start when I said Marcus was the stalker type.

Ah, is Narses possibly a eunuch? I feel bad for Formosus feeling like he is betraying Quintus by being forced to sleep with his new Master. I really hope his new Master is nothing like Nero. It deserves Marcus right that he got caught with his hand down his pants.

Holy crap, I am surprised Marcus didn't piss himself when his as of yet unknown assailants accosted him with a knife to his throat. It's too bad whoever it is didn't at least nick him a bit for all the trouble he has caused Formosus. If it's 'you know who', isn't he afraid of someone seeing him or recognizing him? I don't know who else it could be unless it's that Centurion that Formosus ran into when he was escaping the city to go to the villa. If it is 'you know who', I hope he acquires additional help from Junius and Iason because I am pretty darn sure Junius would want to be in on the rescue of his friend. My big concern is that it own't be easy to penetrate Formosus' new Master palace not without a fight.

'you know who' better be 'who I think he is', lol. If he is, I can't wait to discover all the details of his 'resurrection'

I feel horrible for Formosus and don't like his new home or new Master who I agree with Talltree is a pervert who likes young boys. I wanted to strangle that little twerp Narses for changing his name! Is he going to be part of a male Harem for a Sheik? I wish that Quintus was still alive and would come and take him away to a far distant land where they can be happy and live happily ever after.

Morning! I am glad you updated and you never disappoint me when you do. I don't mean to bug you but I love this story so much. I am intrigued by Formosus' new Master. I can't wait to find out more about him and poor Formosus imagining Quintus' slashed face!
