I'm still reading and enjoying this story. Sorry if I didn't review or rate last ch. I hope Danya gets more training in offensive magic. it would really up the game the next time they come across vampires. Also glad to see they finally got some cuddle time in.

Interesting chapter with the introduction of a new atmosphere for Simon and Danya. I'm glad Danya finally got some cuddling and that Simon has finally been schooled on what is needed. Lets hope that the little bug Danya put in his ear about not minding more intimate behavior during the night takes hold :-)

That was so sweet! I love how Simon and Danya are finally interacting! It was hilarious when Simon found out that he was "neglecting" Danya, lol.

How have I never seen this story on here before? It's quite wonderful!! I am definitely looking forward to your updates!

I love how you portray Simon's character. So many times we think we know what is right and can't see past our own internal moral code to see that what we view as correct behavior isn't really what the other person needs at all. That, I think, is a very difficult lesson in life to learn.

Thanks for the update. I hope we get another soon and that Danya gets some much deserved cuddling even sooner.

Oh Danya you poor thing. i'm surprised Simon actually listened for once, but I'm glad he did and I hope he'll pull his head out of his butt and at least give Danya a hug.

I'm sure this town will be where Danya gets to make use of his shield.

Oh I missed Ur fic so much! I'm so happy for the update !! Poor danya he can get his thoughts trow with Simon and he gets to see cailan with he's master, I'm really curious when and who he's gonna snap out of his stubbornes I hope something not to tragic...well I will go back to my corner until the next update oh and I'm gonna check your tumblr so I know when the next update

Yay! An update and finally, some leeway on this whole ordeal. They're not exactly at a stalemate anymore, we got some progress. I love how ironic it is that Simon is concerned about slave well being and that makes him seem open minded, but (how I see it) he's really closeminded in keeping his ways the same and what HE believes is right and wrong for everyone, constructing a world around him to make it fit his beliefs. Maybe I'm reading too much into this (lol) but I love how much time and depth you've put into this story and I absolutely love it. I cannot wait until you update next!!

Well I just read all eight chapters in one sitting. I love your world building, I want to know more about the world they live in, the mage vs human war and when the vampires came into it. This is such a great story can't wait to see more.
