I adore Danya and Simon but Hamish is really becoming my favorite character. I am enjoying reading this story so much.

Really enjoying this world you are creating! I would love to get some more physical descriptions of Danya and Lord Bell… I have only determined that Danya has blue eyes and dark hair and is not thin/slight, but does that mean he is muscular? Tall? Is he as tall as Lord Bell? Just wondering, as it would help me picture them better.
Also I'd be happy to offer any editing/whatever help if it means I get to read more of this! It's seems like it will turn out to be one of the best original fantasy stories on the site.

I'm always a bit wary to read slavefic because the writing so often relies on cliches, and characters that I'm sick of, so I was pleasantly surprised by this story so far! I really like the subtlety in the characterization. Danya is pragmatic--neither groveling and in insta-love with his master nor completely rebellious and bitter. Lord Bell has a multifaceted personality, and I liked that his lighter side was shown before the "I don't want a slave" indifference, because it avoids the part where the slave thinks his master is cruel/the slave is unsatisfactory, and the reader (me!) has to pretend that they don't know exactly where it is going. I'm also intrigued by the magic system and vampires. I hope to see more :)
