I am enjoying the progression of this story! Would love to know more about Hamish and Simon's background together…. are they friends? Comrades? Is there an age difference? I've been imagining that Simon is a bit older, but I don't know if I'm imagining that or if you mentioned it somewhere….

Oh my god thi was so amazing^^ I adored all the magic^^ Thank you so much^^ I so love how this story develops!!!! And I'm so proud of him killing the vamps^^ Fantastic!!!! I think Danya misunderstood the conversation he overheard between Simon and Hamish. I don't think they would kill him but then again Hamish did hold a knife to his throat but I think that was because they thought Danya was a threat and was planning to kill Simon. I was worried the vampires were going to take Danya but then again if they did would Simon have gone after them to rescue his slave or just let them have him? Thanks for updating!

Yikes! I don't mnow whether to consider Danua brave or extremely foolish. So the innkeeper allowed the campires in because he didn't like mages??
