Um, I think Mac has a death wish and is playing with fire by fooling around with a Russian Mob leader's son.

I see some definite problems looming.... Really enjoyed this chapter, though. Now they're thinking about things, at least, and maybe Amy can help in her own way. I get the feeling things aren't going to end well with Mac, though. ;)

Waiting for them to find out about Nico and Mac has me grinning and wincing at the same time lol

lol, of course someone spiked the punch :P

Story is cute so far, although I have no idea where this is headed other than "Mimi" and Nico maybe getting it on at some point. Wonder how Yakov is gonna handle that one, I can't even picture it. Ooooooo maybe Yakov gets killed at some point and Nico takes over the position...although this is Russian mob right? I don't think family ties are as important (where sons are the heirs)...oh maybe Miroslav takes over, and Yakov names him as Nico's guardian as well.

Story is at the point where it should go in some direction though...unless it's just meeting and romance at some point.

Hmm.... The school dance bit was entertaining, and I'm glad Miroslav told them not to drink the punch.
So Nico finally told somebody about a few things, huh? Good. Though now I'm wondering if he's going to talk to Amy or Miroslav instead of the counselor.
Of course Yakov and Miroslav would do something when they learned about certain...people...in Nico's past. It's what anyone who cared would want to do; they just have the power to get it done.
As always, I'm looking forward to reading more. (But I'm kinda brain-fried right now and really ought to sleep so I can work tomorrow, so I'm not very cognitive at the moment. Thus the less in-depth review this time.)

Is Nico really a russian nickname? I've heard Kolya, Kola and even Nicolasha, but never Nico. Not as a typically russian name, anyway. It sounds more greek or spanish

Some awkward moments this chapter, I see. And plenty of potential for bad fallouts to come. Somehow I don't see Yacov approving of Nico being with his tutor.
At least there was some familial bonding, though. Nico's at least trying to take Miroslav's advice, even if he keeps calling the poor man Mimi. (That could be dangerous, I think. Might create a lack of respect in the lower ranks. Yikes.)
As always, this is very interesting. I'm glad Nico has made at least one friend at school, too.

If I was Mac, I would hit the high road and fast before Yakov or Miroslav find out what him and Nico have been up to and he ends up 6 feet under or in the river. I am happy for Yakov that Nico invited him over to Amy's house for pictures before the dance. Maybe, Yakov and Amy's mom will hit it off unless she's happily married.

Oh, oh, I think that Mac will be in deep trouble should he get caught in the act with Nico. He's not very smart for a tutor. I hope the dance goes well.
