So, very interesting 'confessions' in this chapter. Finlay should be glad that bastard wasn't his real father. It's just too bad he was made to believe he was and he spent his life fearful of the man, and his real father who is so kind and gentle, couldn't show him fatherly love.
So if I understand correctly, Atwood spread the word about the kind of bastard Daffyd was and Anwer's husband did the rest? Maybe with their uncle's help?

I can't wait to see what happens when Steffan and Finlay talk. I can understand how hurt Finlay is but think he will come around. I feel kind of sad for Orson and am glad he met Steffan because I think he's good for him and won't be lonely anymore. I hope he goes back to Steffan's farm and they learn more about each other.

I'm so glad Muller and Steffan got together. But would Muller really be happy living on a farm? In the middle of nowhere? lol

Laevi!!!!!! Why did I ever get a job working in retail? I am so tired of how there are such rude people out there who are ready to bite your head off over nothing but reading this makes me feel much better! I could use a cuddle fight now like how Finlay got sandwiched between Atwood and Muller to ward off all the meanies that shop at the store I work at! I am tired going to bed early so I can deal with it all again tomorrow.

Finlay might be jumping to conclusions, but even if Steffan was his father, it would have been hard for them to confess that truth while Dafydd was still alive. What an interesting family.
