I feel SO dirty for enjoying this fic so much!
I mean, sure, I occasionally get my rocks off on the cheap filthy fetish rape/bdsm smut-fics and feel like I need to take a shower and get a mind-scrubber after reading, but most of that stuff is hard to take seriously. It's usually just lots of evil sex without any real investment in the characters, and usually so over-the-top as to be unbelievable, so I don't really feel as guilty about getting a quick fix from them. And honestly, they're usually just not worth reviewing, even if I do get a kick out of them.
But I HAD to leave a review for this story because it's one of the best "Stockholm Syndrome" stories I have ever read (though admittedly, I tend to avoid reading stories in which the victim is brainwashed into enjoying their victimisation).
Your credible characterisations, strong narrative, and pacing are what makes it so compelling and more believable. And that makes it somehow even more cruel than the ostensibly more brutal fics, which just makes me feel even guiltier for enjoying it... :P
So much sex! Lol. Not that's I'm complaining.
Looking forward to next chapter. Hopefully, we can get one over the holidays! Christmas at Max- imagine that.
