I love this story!

I can't believe how horrible Cyrus' parents are. It's bad enough they take off all the time and are never home, but they just found out that their son can actually TALK and they leave again!! And his mother acts so concerned. What fakes.

I wonder where Darwin plans on taking him.

I really like your writing style and the pacing of this story. I love the tension/anticipation you're building up. I was so ready for Darwin and Cyrus to have something happen between them, hopefully sex, and then Cyrus' parents were home! Please don't make us wait too long for the next update.

Side note, this led me to your other store La Lune, again amazing anticipation building up, and it's Halloween season again. I'm a sucker for vampires, pun intended, I'm loving Noah. Please revisit?

Jesus, poor Cyrus - he just can't a break, can he? Now he's attacked by Brad in Darwin's own house!!

At least Darwin's family were rallying around Cyrus and not Brad. And thank God he was able to yell loud enough to attract everyone else's attention. I think Brad was so crazed he could have killed Cyrus by strangling him to death and he wouldn't even have been aware of it.

Darwin is so sweet. I laughed when Cyrus Googled, 'how can you tell if a guy likes you'. You can never go wrong with Google! And Darwin's sweetness and generosity prove that. What a sweet thing to do: bringing Cyrus for Thanksgiving a day early. Cyrus didn't know anyway. That's so sad. His "parents" are horrible.

Which brings me to something else I was thinking about this when I read the sign Darwin's grandmother has in the house: Please excuse the mess...We live here'. I was thinking that maybe Cyrus is so OCD about cleaning b/c it's another thing he has control of. He has control over who he chooses to speak with and his cleaning. Then I was thinking that maybe he doesn't speak in order to get his parents' attention, but that doesn't really seem to be working.

Anyway, I'm riveted to the story! Can't wait for the next chapter. :)

touching story, nice update chapter.

My only issue with this chapter is that he says that he doesn't talk to anyone implying people he goes to school with but I'm the last chapter he said something to the guys that were beating him up. Otherwise I'm really enjoying the story so far.
