I'm glad you're back! I completely understand about getting sidetracked. I'm going to have to go back and re-read the earlier chapters, cause I'm wondering if Cyrus was always this paranoid...

Thank you for updating this story! I've been a huge fan since the very beginning. I know Cyrus is really shy and nervous around people and has this huge wall built up but I look forward to Darwin breaking Cyrus's emotional wall down once and for all. They are opposites in many ways but opposites do attract and I love these two together. Very unique story....love it! Please update again soon! =)

Niko!!!! You're back!!! It's about time! lol J/K...well, maybe not. I really do love this story, you know. :) I really like how Cyrus is becoming more comfortable around Darwin. Except of course when he's thinking Darwin's a kidnapping murderer! ;) I hope nothing happens to Cyrus while Darwin is at the store. And why in God's name is it going to take him one to two hours to get back? He said he was just going to run to the store, not take a walkabout for a few days. lol

Yup I like Darwin, I just wish we got to see what he did to the magor ass-hat, I was so excited when I thought I would get to read an epic beatdown that was well over due. But I'll wait and hope no detail is spared in the retailing of this great and noble deed! I really like and enjoy this story a lot so far and Cyrus just seems so sad with has no name parental units (only way to describe them, I think). I'm glad he got to see a normal happy family (-1 member and boy-toy). And I love the plot for this it can go in so many ways with just the interactions between only a few characters, plus I love long chapters(!!!) they make me happy! I truly look forward to read more of nekolayvich's work.

This story is going at an insanely fast pace. It's been two days! Aside from that I love it and I do understand the connection. I'm assuming Darwin has had his eye on Cyrus for a while, now. I can't believe Brad, though. I kind of saw that coming, but for him to go so far with a house full of people. He's crazy! I'm interested to see where this sudden romance will take these two, though. Very well written!

Darwin is such a good guy. Cyrus is lucky he has him after everything he's been through. I hope Cyrus can learn to trust him more each day. :)

I really enjoyed this chapter. Very sweet! I love how patient Darwin is with Cyrus and it's great that Cyrus is finally letting his guard down.....at least a little. Baby steps.

I’m intrigued with this story. It’s a bit WTF-ish sometimes and some parts were awkwardly familiar for me, and I think both main characters make very questionable choices. I’m captivated nonetheless. It’s well written and the fact that I have no idea where you’re going with it makes it that much more interesting.

I like Cyrus, I like how you describe his inner conflicts, and I’m glad for him that at least someone is finally willing to give him some real attention and honest care, because he deserves it. I’m not sure how I feel about Darwin yet, I suppose he has to grow on me a little more. Since Cyrus is so very troubled it’s easy to overlook it, but I have feeling Darwin has some issues too. And he may want to protect Cyrus but so far he’s been doing a fairly lousy job in my opinion. A thanksgiving dinner with a family of strangers would make a stressful first date for anyone, let alone for a guy with very obvious social issues. And even though he saved Cyrus from that Brad character, he could have prevented the whole thing if he had been a little more observant. I did like his choice of taking Cyrus away from his parental home. Cyrus’ parents are terrible parents, their treatment would fuck up any kid. Cyrus and Darwin need some one on one time to talk now and find out what is going on between them and where they want it to go. Or they could have sex first. Excellent conversation opener, good for stress relief, and it might open Cyrus’ eyes to what he really wants. ..

I was wondering if Darwin is his real name. It’s an uncommon name, while everyone else in the family has a fairly common name. I also suspect that a Christian person that says prayer before dinner would not name their son after the ground layer of the theory of evolution. Since he owns (or works in) a bookstore I imagine he renamed himself Darwin, and his real name is John or Peter or something. That’s my theory anyway. Of course I may be completely wrong... about everything. In which case I hope you accept my humble apologies.
