Oh, I do like this! It's nicely twisty, and the way you move back and forth through his memories is quite effective for building the mood. You also foreshadow, but well enough that the end is still a surprise.
I'm a detail whore, so I'd love seeing a bit more detail, but I honestly can't say that's a criticism as much as it is a personal prefernce, so feel free to pat me on the head and send me on my way. ^^

That was a really great story. I haven't read a story like that on this site in such along time. Thanks You, so much I really miss reading story like this one. I can't wait to read more stories from you.

In my opinion, you did good with this! It gets into your head, makes you wonder what's going on and what's going to happen next. You get glimpses as flashes of reality and illusion. Well written. ^_^
