I'm enjoying your story. I really like your character Dustin and how he refuses to give in no matter the circumstances.
Keep up the good work.

What?? Burout actually can understand things?? lol...damn, son. It's about time. Also, was it just me or did Dustin have a bit of a Diva attitude towards the end? haha I would too, though, if someone forced me to camp in uncharted lands.

WOW I just got caught up with story again! I really like this story because of the diffences and the struggle of everyone not just Dustin and Burout.... I was hoping Dusting would give Burout a tounge lashing over him sleeping with his sister while he was hostage... also give him shit for not remembering that he was a warrior until Burout found him. I also cannot wait to find out if Burwal has more on Dustins dad then just sex I get that slaves or subs have power too but I'm thinking maybe it's some political blackmail he might have on him? So anywho I'm enjoying this one as well as the others! read ya laters

Wow! This is a great story! I read it in one afternoon and I have not managed to get my computer! I'm glad that Dustin does not fit well! Because it is normal! I would not either if I would adapt aliens deprived me of my freedom and I do not accept either to share my guy (aliens or not!)
Sorry I'm French and I'm late so I use google translation to write my review!

I agree with everyone else. I'm really beginning to despise Burout. He didn't even wait until Dustin was recovered before he started his relationship with Dustin's sister. When Dustin protests he gets punished right in front of his sister. Burout should have sent the sister out of the room and then explained things with Dustin.
I really hope that there is a sympathetic party that finds a cure for the serout condition that the verlon go through. There has to be some scientist on the planet who is willing to try to find a cure. I am certain that there are many verlon who rail against their fate. They should have the option of leaving an abusive relationship. Instead you have an entire subcategory of people who are no better off than slaves.
I hope in Dustin's case that at least his brother or someone else helps find Dustin a new Nolre who can help him get off the planet. Dustin will never be happy living the situation he's in. I'm just about to give up on Burout. It looks like Burout is more interested in gaining political clout than trying to understand his verlon. Burout sounds more happy living on the planet than trying to help Dustin escape it. Anyways thanks for the great story!

It was nice meeting his brother, and to see that more than one person on the planet was as decent as Bruwal. And yeah, I know I'm injecting my own sense of right and wrong into this, but considering multiple people can understand Dustin's frustration--the lack of empathy from Dustin's father and Burout (seriously? force something up his anus after he was repeatedly tortured and raped?? the fuck is the matter with you?) is just fucked up at this point. And I have a theory about Bruwal, but I can't tell which one it is: either he is just one of those people who hopes everyone is well and comfortable, or he's been biding his time for something extraordinary to happen. Perhaps I am way off base, but there has to be something important about the Verlons that is more than just politics. Otherwise, why care about a bunch of amorous men? Why not let them die out if they are so weak and you can find companionship with other women?
Something is very bizarre about the origins of this social order, and the automatic oppression of the verlons.
As an aside, it seems like a few readers are jumping ship due to how fucked up this society is. lol Not that I'll think you'll do this, but see your story through. You can't please everyone, and having read countless fucked up universes here, I know this place can handle another. ;) Especially if you keep developing it the way you have! Thanks for the update.

If I was Dustin I'd say "Fine. You want to sleep around? You do that. But just so you know. I'll do same. How many brothers do you have by the way?" And of course I wouldn't let him touch me anymore. It wouldn't add into the game.

Please let Dustin be soon free, Burout is so terrible, Dustin was so in pain and he doesn't do better als sleep with his sister. And these punishment again and again. It is so despicable. He has a right to be free from Burout and his father. Burout can then has so many kids with bis sister. I wish a better Future for Dustin.

Hello there! I've been following this story since you posted the first chapter. I figured it's about time I left a review. I'll admit, this story really frustrates me. ;) But that's good! It simply shows that your writing really connects with people and makes them feel for the characters. I always sympathize with Dustin. And it get's to me every time he tries to explain why his situation isn't going to work for him. It's like 'uggghhhh why can't anything go his way for once' but you're right, this story is about the struggles of a relationship with two different cultures. And it's very well done! I get a little annoyed with stories where suddenly everyone gets their way and all is good in the world, it's not realistic I guess you could say? I think I've got a love-hate relationship with you're story. I get so angry at everyone about how they treat Dustin, but I keep coming back for more to see how Dustin reacts. :P So keep it coming, I'm really interested in seeing where everyone stands once it's all said and done. :)
